Lay the bread slices on a clean work surface. Spread a thin layer of mustard on each slice. Sprinkle 2 Tbs. of the cheese on one bread slice. Lay the ham on top and sprinkle with the remaining 2 Tbs. cheese. Top with the other bread slice, mustard side down. Press the sandwich firmly together and lightly butter the outside of the sandwich.

Rated 5 out of 5 by DeeDee from Cooks perfect every time! I love this toaster! At first you may look at it as why would I spend that kind of money on a toaster. Let me tell you, to me, it's worth every penny. The touch screen makes setting the toast, bagel or whatever you'd like to the perfect cooking temperature. You can see and watch the dots on the temperature guide slowly fade as it gets closer to the the achieved "done" time. The end product then quitely and slowly rises up and doesn't spring out at you leaving you to put your catchers glove on to get it. I just LOVE this!!Date published: 2019-01-16Rated 4 out of 5 by Love2EntertainFmly from Very close to 5 stars I researched and research for a toaster. This should be an easy quest but I am tired of products that are plastic and made in China. I can not find anything that is not made in China but I did find this toaster that has no plastic knobs and dials just an electronic touch pad. I took it out of the box and placed it on the counter I felt like I should say "The Eagle Has Landed". Very attractive and easy to use. It does toast the same on both sides (like a mirror) but does not toast each side completely. I have used 2 different breads (size) and the larger slices toasted more completely. I am hoping it lasts a long time because of the cost. The one thing I don't like is that I have to unplug after each use as the power stays on. I understand that unplugging this space ship is best due to power outages and surges. I would think for the cost a build in surge protector could have been put in place and the power could be turned off. I do enjoy the toast and realize that my old toaster of many years was simply warming the bread. I would still like to find an American made toaster. I should have kept my Mom's from the 60's.Date published: 2018-02-11Rated 5 out of 5 by KevinJohn1960 from Great Design. Perfect in Every Way! I purchased the Williams Sonoma Thermal Coffee maker, as our old coffee maker was less than stellar, then our toaster honked out. I purchased the Williams Sonoma 4-slice motorized toaster. Both pieces are design masterpieces, state of the art, with ease of function, and perform to perfection. My partner and I could not be happier!Date published: 2017-08-09Rated 1 out of 5 by Susi from Did I get a lemon? My toaster browned the toast for first few times, then it was not evenly toasting...Half brown and only one side of bread...Now even at darkest setting, it barely browns...Date published: 2017-04-18Rated 1 out of 5 by DesiB from It died after a week I bought this toaster about a week ago. I left for the weekend and Monday morning it's DOA. Can't get the touch screen to engage at all. Disappointment to say the least.Date published: 2017-03-27Rated 2 out of 5 by Allan WInd from So/so It is not a bad product, it really isn't, but to me it just feels like a half-baked at a premium price. The design is overly bulky both the metal case and the plastic control panel. The fingers at the bottom of the bread slots are too narrow, so end pieces fall through, and I end having to unplug the toaster and I use a pair of wood chopsticks to fish out my lost bread. This is the only toaster that I had to reboot, it got into some weird state where the motorized could not figure out where it was after I had to unplug for fishing for lost bread. This is really annoying. It does not toast evenly compared to the Breville Smart Oven we used before for toasts. It about twice as fast as the Smart Oven for toasts and why I was looking for a toaster in the first place. The blinking dots is strictly inferior to the time count down on the Smart Owen. Duplicating the controls for the two left and two right slots makes it feel like two of the two slot toasters were bolted together. The touch panel is pretty. To me functional is more important than pretty, and it is not that this hard to use by any means. I could care less about all the non-toast options. If you like different settings as far as toasting is concerned, the most practical way is probably to designate different slots for it. The fact that two slots are paired are just not element. If you want simple, then then just run all 4 slots together, and if you want sophistication provide individual control for each slot (either direct, or a shared interface while minimizing how many times I have to click to get my toast going, also rotary controls are great). I wish it was a lot better, priced more reasonable for what it is, but I am using this a few times a week and keeping it.Date published: 2017-03-22Rated 5 out of 5 by Coffee gal from Stylish, well designed toaster Love the design and style. Looks great on the kitchen counter. Wide and deep slots fit any toast or bagel. Browns very evenly unlike most toasters. would highly recommend!Date published: 2017-03-14Rated 5 out of 5 by CSmitty from Great Toaster! We have had this toaster for about 3 weeks, and just love it! It does a perfect job on English Muffins using the bagel button. It centers and supports the muffins so there are no overdone spots and they stay flat. The only learning curve is to have your bread item in the machine before you push any buttons because once you select your toasting method the basket automatically goes down; which is really cool by the way. It has a sensor, so when you come near the power button slowly pulses, once you press it the display comes on. It is VERY electronic so I am a little worried that it may not have a long life, hopefully that won't be the case. It is pretty big so check measurements if you have limited space. It is also a gorgeous appliance.Date published: 2017-01-05
