Rated 1 out of 5 by Nan1234 from The lid cut my hand I was very happy to have this pot coz it is exactly the size I want. After about a month use, yesterday was the first time I wash the lid by hand. The lid is not smooth enough, it cut or scratch my finger to bleed. Very disappointed on the product.Date published: 2019-02-26Rated 5 out of 5 by Spcowlvr from Exceeds expectations I am a professional cook. I have always cooked with teflon or hard anodized pans. When those pans fail (chip and scratch etc) i would have to replace. I know how to cook with stainless steel but a little hesitant because these pans are a bit pricey. I am so glad I overcame my fear and bought these. They cook great and there is little clean up. These are pans I will never have to replace. I cant wait to add to my set.Date published: 2017-03-13Rated 4 out of 5 by Latenitz from Great multi-use pot Purchased this last January on a great sale and it has been a wonderful addition to my other All Clad pots. Fantastic quality, construction and results as was expected. Use primarily for soups/stews but also for pasta. Water boils very fast. Definitely recommended if you are looking for a pot in this size.Date published: 2016-11-03Rated 5 out of 5 by Aflac23yellow from I use the spot almost every day I have many all clad pots. This is the perfect size for every day use. I am always grabbing this pot . I was so excited to see when you put this on sale. I immediately ordered it for Christmas gifts. All clad is top-of-the-line and you cannot go wrong with this size. You will never regret this purchaseDate published: 2015-12-04Rated 5 out of 5 by PalmSpringsBaker from All-Clad Tri-Ply Stainless-Steel Soup Pot with Lad Fabulous Pot & Ladle! I bought two and I use them almost daily. Perfect Intermediate sise for soups, stews and chili. Perfect for cooking fruit as well. Do not let the one star review regarding size deter you. Enjoy your new pot and ladle! Love & Sunshine!Date published: 2014-02-23Rated 5 out of 5 by RobinDensford from Love this pot I originally purchased this pot in a set of All Clad LTD in 1996. Unfortunately, WS no longer carries the LTD line. When the pot was lost in a move five years ago, I was dismayed . . .but recently ordered this tri-ply stainless to replace it. It's easily my favorite pot and the perfect size for this empty nester household. However . . .while children were in the home, it's cousin's LTD version was used more often than my long handled sauce pans for safety reasons. No need to remember to turn the handle inwards . . .and I honestly don't know why all pots aren't made more like this one. As for height . . .i measured 7" from the bottom of the pot to the top of lid handle. 4 quarts is still four quarts, regardless of height.Date published: 2013-12-26Rated 5 out of 5 by MidTown from Excellent Pot This is another great All-Clad Tri-Ply Stainless-Steel Pot. The pot is 4 quarts as stated. The height of the pot is listed incorrectly as 7 inches, it is actually 5 inches tall. It is a very useful size. It is also a good price for such a high-quality, durable, and useful pot.Date published: 2012-09-01Rated 5 out of 5 by Kessham from Handy pot for smaller amounts of soup and pasta I was a little perplexed by the first review giving this pot only one star because it is too small. It is four quarts. Exactly the size stated. I find this pot to be an extremely useful piece of cookware. It is perfect when I am cooking smaller amounts of soup just for the two of us without the desire for leftovers (although we get some). It's also my go-to pot when I'm only cooking half a package of pasta or a small amount of grain, like farro. The pot happens to be of excellent quality, heavy, sturdy, with two easy grip handles that make transfer to the sink or table foolproof. The cover has an excellent large handle, and I love the ladle that comes with it. A very nice bonus. It is also a very attractive piece to look at (not that this matters all that much, but it's nice).Date published: 2012-07-02
