The chevron pattern on our spectacular rug is created by hand piecing hundreds of strips of Brazilian hair-on cowhide, resulting in waves of natural color and texture. Each piece is selected for its quality and luster, making each rug one of a kind. A soft canvas backing lends extra durability without compromising the rug's supple drape.

Premium hair-on hides are hand selected.

Due to the natural variation in cowhides, color shading and placement of colors will vary from rug to rug; each is unique.

We recommend our Lightweight Rug Pad with this style; the latex-backed pad (sold separately) can be trimmed to fit exact rug dimensions.

Care

A fine cowhide will offer years of beauty and durability with minimal care. It is important to note that hair on hide is a natural product and will wear under heavy traffic conditions. With light wear you can shake out the hide to remove dust – or simply vacuum as you would any other rug, using suction-only without the vacuum's beater bar.

The hide's natural oils resist staining—simply wipe up any spills. If a stain should occur, use mild soap, warm water and a soft brush to rub lightly with the grain of the hair.

We recommend rotating your hide every three months in high traffic areas—and not placing your cowhide in direct sunlight.

As with any natural product, please note you can expect color and pattern variances from hide to hide.

Use of a rug pad is recommended.
Shipping Information

Please allow 4 to 5 days for delivery. Larger sizes are delivered by our White Glove Delivery Service and should be delivered within 2 to 4 weeks. For White Glove Delivery, items are brought into your home and placed in the room of your choice. Delivery is by appointment, Monday – Saturday; our delivery service will call to arrange a day. Shipping Rates

With Unlimited Flat Rate Furniture & Freight Delivery, an unlimited number of eligible furniture and select non-furniture items in your order can be delivered for a single flat rate. The exact shipping charges are based on your shipping location and will be applied during checkout.

All items not shipped via unlimited flat-rate delivery fee will incur a shipping surcharge, but no additional delivery fees. All items not flagged by a shipping surcharge, are charged via our standard ship table. View Shipping Options and Charges.

Return Policy

At Williams Sonoma, we take great pride in the quality and craftsmanship of our products. Attention to design, materials, safety and construction are our priority. Upon receipt, please inspect your purchase and notify us of any damage; we will arrange for a prompt replacement.

Within 30 days, you may return most items for a refund of the merchandise value. An original receipt or gift receipt is required for all returns and exchanges. Returns with a gift receipt will be refunded in the form of a Merchandise Credit for the amount indicated on the gift receipt. Returns with original receipt will be refunded in the original form of payment, cash and check refunds over $100 will be issued as a company check (may take 14 business days from time of request). Please note that returned items must be in new condition.

We cannot accept returns on monogrammed, personalized, special-order items, custom upholstery, items shipped direct from the vendor or on items damaged through normal wear and tear. Final sale items ending in .97 cannot be returned.

Made to Order items, including custom rugs, Monogrammed/Personalized items and Final Sale items are non-returnable and cannot be cancelled once the order is placed.
