Ingredients

  • 1 apple
  • 3 beets
  • 3 large carrots
  • 1-inch piece fresh ginger
  • Handful of spinach or kale leaves, stemmed (optional)

Directions

Wash the ingredients well, then cut them up as needed to fit through the chute of your juicer. Juice the ingredients in the order listed according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Serve immediately. Serves 1.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Wonderful... but not for everyday This juice is really good. Just don't have it everyday. I used to drink it almost everyday and my blood sugar spiked to almost 100. I exercise four days a week and I never had sugar problems; there is no family history of diabetes. My doctor told me that the reason why I had high blood sugar was the carrot and beet juice. They have lots and lots of sugar! I stopped having it, and my blood test went back to normal almost immediately after.
