Summer in a Pitcher

Award-winning country music superstar, best-selling cookbook author and star of the Food Network series Trisha’s Southern Kitchen, Trisha Yearwood’s ultimate summer cocktail is a breeze to make with her signature mix, a vibrant combo of sunny tangerine and sweet cherry juice blended with island pineapple juice. Mix individual drinks, as described here, or stir together 1 cup of rum and 2 cups of cocktail mix in a large pitcher for enough drinks to serve a crowd.

- 3 oz. (90 ml) Summer in a Pitcher cocktail mix
- Splash of lemon-lime soda
- Thin orange slices for garnish (optional)
- Fresh cherries for garnish (optional)
Directions
In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, combine the rum and cocktail mix. Shake or stir until well chilled and strain into an ice-filled glass. Top with the lemon-lime soda. Garnish with the orange slices and cherries and serve immediately. Makes 1 drink.
