White Balsamic Vinegar
Our white balsamic condiment is crafted in Modena, Italy, by the Leonardi family, makers of fine vinegars since the 1800s. It’s made from the must of Trebbiano grapes, a varietal dictated by the consortium for making balsamic, combined with wine vinegar, then fermented and aged in wooden casks for four years. The result is a sweet-tart, golden vinegar with floral aromas, complex flavor and a balanced acidity softened by exposure to oak. Use it in lieu of regular vinegar in sauces and vinaigrettes, add it to a pan after searing meats to deglaze, or drizzle it in soups, gravies, even cocktails—to anything you want to give brightness and a gently sweet flavor.

Rated 1 out of 5 by formanp from overpriced sugar syrup This is the Worst white balsamic vinegar that I have encountered -- overly sweet (7 grams of sugar per tablespoon!) and lacking in intensity and complexity of flavor. And for that it is also the most expensive that I have purchased. Far better is the very widely available Alessi, with 4 grams per tablespoon and costing one quarter as much.Date published: 2016-06-14Rated 5 out of 5 by EngineeringMom from Delicious sweet vinegar I'm a huge fan of balsamic vinegars.
