Luxardo Maraschino Cherries
Maraschino cherries go back to their Italian roots. Produced in Luxardo, Italy, these cherries are nothing like the bright red orbs you find in cocktails from workaday bars. Dense and chewy with a sweet-tart flavor, these maraschino cherries are made with prized sour marasca cherries preserved in the fruit's famed liqueur. They'll take your Manhattan (or Shirley Temple) to new heights and are also delicious spooned with their rich syrup over ice cream or cheesecake.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Landon from 100% the BEST Real cocktails deserve only the best. NOTHING out there compares to these. Worth every cent. The flavor, the texture -- it's all there. Best part: use the boozy syrup as a grenadine stand in when you're finished. Stores get about 6 of these at a time and sell out for a few months so STOCK up while you can!Date published: 2017-03-09Rated 5 out of 5 by WinoPhile from No Turning Back Now Once we purchased these cherries, there was no going back to the neon supermarket ones! Absolutely luscious chewy texture and great flavor. We use them strictly for cocktails and friends who have never had them before become instant converts. The store near me only gets six or twelve jars at a time, so when they come in, I buy two jars at a time. Highly recommended!Date published: 2016-12-31Rated 4 out of 5 by SuSu2 from Good but Expensive These cherries are very good and I like that's they do not contain high fructose. But, even on sale, they are too expensive. I would rather use the money on other items, or charities, than cherries.Date published: 2015-07-26Rated 5 out of 5 by JandB from My husband's favorite cherries My husband uses these when making Manhattans and we also have used them to top hot fudge sundaes. They are small, very sweet cherries that are not so bright red like the typical Maraschino cherries. They are in a thick syrup.Date published: 2015-01-07Rated 5 out of 5 by Cookingismypassion from Best cocktail cherries ever These are wonderful. They taste like cherries. If you are looking for the candy taste and fake color of cheap maraschino cherries these are not for you.Date published: 2014-07-12Rated 5 out of 5 by lanabanana from Manhattan Magic A must-have if you enjoy a really nice Manhattan. Spendy, yes, but if W-S cuts a break on shipping, it's about the best on-line deal around for this delicious cherry. Don't let your old notion of what a Maraschino cherry tastes like stop you from trying Luxardo's recipe. Think of them as an adult treat and buy a jar.Date published: 2014-06-28
