La Cornue CornuFé Stove, Gloss Black
From La Cornue, this appliance features the superb workmanship and styling that have distinguished the French company's stoves for nearly a century – but with one significant difference: it's available for shipment without the customary long wait. To accomplish this, each one is assembled using innovative new manufacturing technology, then finished by hand. The professional-style cooktop is configured with five powerful gas burners. Proportioned for use with standard 24" deep base cabinets, the stove can be adjusted in height. Four oven racks are included.

Rated 4 out of 5 by lizzyk from Beautiful Oven The CornuFe range model in the KOP store in 2015 was NOT the current CornuFe model that La Cornue delivered to me. The interior side oven panels in the KOP store model were removable for cleaning, which was a huge selling point since this is a non selfcleaning oven. After delivery, I discovered La Cornue has updated their model because the interior oven design is slightly different than the store model I was showed. The ovens are larger & the interior side oven panels are NOT removable. The instruction manual states the interior side oven panels are removable. After spending 20 minutes yanking on interior parts of my oven, I called La Cornue and discovered the instruction manual is not updated for the current model I received. A separate con is that I've had a technician replace a gas valve for free. The customer service was good. Otherwise, I love my range, its beautiful, I have no problem sticking in large cuts of meat & the temp has been exact.Date published: 2017-01-30Rated 2 out of 5 by unhappyKeith from Incorrect temperatures, bad customer service Like others, my oven temperature is about 50-100 degrees too hot and has been since the day I got it. I called LaCornue and they told me they could send someone out to fix it but at a very high price. When asked why this was not covered under the warranty, they said "it's not a manufacturer defect, it's just a tune-up like a car." Of course, that's one of the worst excuses I've ever heard, but they wouldn't budge, so now we just live with our $10,000 hunk of junk. DO NOT BUY LaCornue IF YOU CARE ABOUT FUNCTION OR QUALITY. I guess I'll give this two stars instead of one because it looks pretty.Date published: 2016-05-23Rated 1 out of 5 by jp1958 from Don't buy one I have had 2 La Cornue stoves. They are not worth the money. You cannot control the temperature. Set it to 350 and it will vary 30-40 degrees from 350. I also have a Wolf gas stove. They are incredibly will made and very accurate.Date published: 2013-12-25Rated 2 out of 5 by upscalebohemian from Destroyed by Chintzy Control Knobs I absolutely love the look of this range, and having inspected a few at several different stores I don't get how everything can be so well constructed except the knobs that control the cooktop. Touch one at all (let alone turn it) and it wobbles in your hand. The knob itself is beautiful but what it attaches to through the metal facing is terrible and wobbles. It doesn't give a secure feeling at all. The knobs also come right off (supposedly to clean easily) but they just feel cheap in every way when you use them. This was an absolute deal killer, and I just don't understand how the doors can close so reassuringly but the knobs can be attached to such chintzy underpinnings. It absolutely killed my interest in this range until they revise the design, and it wasn't just one of these, it was several at several stores -- all with the same issue.Date published: 2012-10-04
