Rated 1 out of 5 by caat from Lids are useless If you are wanting bowls with lids that fit and stay on do not buy these bowls. No matter how many ways you try to make the lid stay put it just slides right off. Surely the manufacturer realizes this so why are they still making/selling these bowls with the lids? Great for just mixing things in but I purchased them to use for storage of food. Totally useless for this purpose.Date published: 2017-02-07Rated 2 out of 5 by AnnieMoore416 from Lids Don't Fit I received these from our wedding registry and now am realizing, like other reviewers, that there is not a trick to locking in the lids. They just don't fit. I hope I will be able to return them. The actual bowls are nice, but I wanted these for the specific reason of having a lid for food storage.Date published: 2016-05-18Rated 2 out of 5 by Fitrgirl from So disappointed! I absolutely love these bowls, the quality of the stainless is awesome, they are a dream to mix anything in...the disappointment comes from the fact that the lids simply do not fit. I sincerely wish I had not shredded my receipt before discovering this issue. Only purchase if the lids do not factor in to how you plan to use them.Date published: 2016-01-24Rated 2 out of 5 by cgrooters from Great bowls, but horrible lids I bought these lids for storage bowls for food for the fridge and the lids do not stay on at all. They fit fine at first, but within moments, they pop off. I ended up returning mineDate published: 2015-09-20Rated 5 out of 5 by ScottishTerrierLover from Have never used the lids I ordered these bowls as my go to mixing/baking bowls and I absolutely love them. I bake a lot of Bundt cakes, muffins, doughnuts, etc and nothing I had previously could hold a candle to these bowls. I have never used the lids and probably never will. These bowls were exactly what I was looking for and they get a lot of use and have held up very well.Date published: 2015-02-24Rated 5 out of 5 by Bakergail from My GO-TO Bowls! I love them! I have had this set for several years now and they are the ones we always reach for. Yes, the lids do not seal, but for most things I put in the fridge, they are enough. If not, I will put plastic wrap under them. I hand wash them and they haven't warped. The bowls themselves are deep enough so things you mix don't splash out; are heavy enough but not cumbersome; and are great to nest and store. One fantastic feature is the measurements that are molded in! I would hate to do without this set. BUT a set of sealing lids would be a nice bonus!Date published: 2014-04-16Rated 3 out of 5 by LakeMaryGurl from Great Bowls - Lids Warp I've had these bowls for approximately one year and use them frequently. However, the lids are worthless; whether at room temperature or in the fridge. They warp and therefore don't seal correctly. If I had known, I would have purchased the plain bowls without lids.Date published: 2012-12-29Rated 2 out of 5 by BellaS from Good mixing bowls - but lids of very bad quality This set of mixing bowls includes plastic lids that according to the product description are "airtight lids". However, while starting using the product I realized that besides the fact that these lids do not fit bowles properly at the room temperature, they become rigid and warped when I put them in the refrigerator.Date published: 2012-09-03
