Spoon the butter onto quick breads, ebelskiver pancakes or muffins, or blend it with eggs and cream for a luscious pumpkin-pie filling (recipe included).

Pumpkin Gooey Butter Cake

Cake base:
1 pkg. WS Pumpkin quick bread
1 egg
1 stick butter, melted

Filling:
1 8 oz pkg. cream cheese
1 jar WS pumpkin butter
3 eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 stick butter, melted
1 15 oz box powdered sugar
1/2 tsp cinnamon

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. To make cake base, combine quick bread mix, egg and melted butter with electric mixer. Pat into the bottom of a greased 9x13 pan.

To prepare filling, beat the cream cheese and pumpkin butter until smooth. Add the eggs, vanilla, melted butter and cinnamon and beat together. Add the powdered sugar and mix well. Spread the filling mixture over the cake base. Bake for 40-50 minutes, making sure not to over bake so the center is still a little gooey!
