Rated 5 out of 5 by luclarecuisine from Love the set We love this set, I agree with everyone, the teaspoons are large but are perfect as a soup spoons, the large spoons I'm using as a service spoons. I'm going buy the Moca spoons" from the company. They are small spoons. The weight and the way the fork and knife feel in your hands makes eating a pleasure.Date published: 2016-11-18Rated 5 out of 5 by 4pearlywhites from Elegant flatware I love Milady flatware! It has an elegant, classic styling. It has a nice sturdy feel without being too heavy. The desert/soup spoon included with the 5 piece place setting is rather large at 7 1/16" long but Guy Degrenne does have a coffee/teaspoon at 5 1/2" available as well as many other single pieces! After a month of daily use and washing it in the dishwasher the flatware still looks beautiful! No rust! The knives are very sharp due to the nickel content! This flatware can easily be dressed up and used with my fine china or with my white Eclectique! It is perfect and will last me for many years!Date published: 2015-12-28Rated 4 out of 5 by Pookerella from Gorgeous, but … We loved the look of this flatware, shiny and beautiful, but…the spoons are ENORMOUS. I know that is a "look" today, I don't like it, and we decided to pass on this set because of the spoons. Pity.Date published: 2015-08-27Rated 3 out of 5 by SusanDaniels from small issues I LOVE this flatware. I am, however, disappointed that it is not offered as open rather than sets. MY forks seem to walk away and I would love to purchase ONLY dinner forks. Having seen the reviews that mention difference in weight and markings, I do not know. When I purchase the full place settings merely for the forks, I will have a much better idea. And that brings me back to the issue of open stock purchase. I already have enough spoons...And NOT the size spoon used for coffee or tea.Date published: 2015-02-07Rated 3 out of 5 by ReallyHonest from Disappointed - These are not the same I bought 10 sets of the Milady stainless steel utensils from Williams and Sonoma many years ago and seriously loved it. In a recent move, all but one piece was stolen, and I wasn't worried because I knew it was still available at W&S. That's not exactly true. Unfortunately, the current sets are not the same quality and style. They no longer have the two marks (some call them dimple marks as mentioned in the 3/22/2012 review) on the top of the spoon/fork, etc.); the handle pattern appears larger and the overall look of each utensil is cruder and less classy, and the weight feels less. With the old set, I always used it for special occasions because I thought it looked and felt classy. With this new set, I am embarrassed and will not use this for entertaining. The overall appearance and weight is medium "cheap," and I am so disappointed. I wish I could find the exact set again.Date published: 2015-01-25Rated 4 out of 5 by WorkingMom99 from SELL TEASPOONS! Great quality silverware. Have had for 10 years and still looks fantastic. Like many other reviewers I am missing teaspoons and am really unhappy to find that you don't sell individual teaspoons. For that reason, I would not recommend it to others. The only other downside is that the soup spoons are quite large -- more like serving spoons.Date published: 2014-12-09Rated 4 out of 5 by DanaCA from Love this setting but beware of no open stock! I have had 12 sets of these 5-piece settings for 14 years. I love the weight and simplicity of the design. They still look decent after years of wear. Like other reviewers, I have lost several of the teaspoons (kids threw them in the trash?) and a few other pieces. It is really unfortunate that WS does not sell open stock. This flatware is relatively expensive and it is ridiculous to have to buy an entire set to replace a few random pieces.Date published: 2014-11-07Rated 5 out of 5 by DebbiCT from Wish I could buy open stock LOVE it...got 12 settings for my wedding 22 years ago (I think it was called something else). Somehow I'm down to one teaspoon. Wish I could buy just a bunch of teaspoons! Other than that, love it, love the large European forks and soup spoons.Date published: 2014-02-16
