Rated 5 out of 5 by rjam1209 from Best mixing bowls I purchased a set of these over 20 years ago! Sadly my large one has a crack in the bottom. I LOVE these bowls and just ordered a new set. Talk about getting my money's worth!! My daughter wants the two old bowls.Date published: 2016-10-20Rated 5 out of 5 by MrsJAJohnson from Everyday tool So many good features! Nonslip bottom, handle, pour spout, dishwasher safe (top rack). Serve in them at casual meals. Love my melamine mixing bowls!Date published: 2016-10-04Rated 2 out of 5 by KarolynK from Breaks Easily Love these bowls but will have to switch to another type. They break easily. Fragile.Date published: 2016-04-30Rated 3 out of 5 by Lardeen from Beautiful ... but break so easily :( Have been absolutely loving my white melamine mixing bowls until I dropped one onto the floor while I was drying it. To my surprise, it cracked in half! Thought my clumsiness was mainly to blame until I saw all of these reviews. Still, would love to replace my one bowl (it was my most-used size), but alas...not sold individually.Date published: 2015-12-26Rated 1 out of 5 by Fuschia from Bowls Break far to Easily We were given a set of these melamine bowls for Christmas in 2006. They were all cracked and broken in just a few years. We bought a second set of these bowls in early 2015. By late 2015 one bowl had cracked in half and the second one had a cracked on the handle/lip. These bowls are of poor quality. We cook at home most nights, and have glass bowls that we use frequently that have lasted for over 17 years! I will not purchase these bowls again, as a gift or for myself. It's a shame, too, because they are great sized bowls and the handle is wonderful! Still - buyer beware.Date published: 2015-12-10Rated 1 out of 5 by StorchHaus from All have cracked on the bottom I have had two sets of these bowls. I had the first set for a couple of years before I noticed that there was a crack in the bottom of one of them. Then all of them cracked. I asked at the store if they'd had any problems with the bowls cracking and was assured they had not. He said it could have been from heat differences. I stated that I did not put them in the microwave or the dishwasher but wash by hand, and only mixed by hand, not with an electric mixer. I loved these so much that last year I purchased another set. Now ALL of them are cracked on the bottom. I am so mad and sad that they have not held up to typical use and all of my mixing bowls will soon have to be thrown away. After reading more reviews I see that I am not the only one having this problem.Date published: 2015-11-22Rated 5 out of 5 by Val12 from Love the set I've had the set for over a year and I use it to mix anything. Kids also have used to make cookie mix and no issues whatsoever. The bowls are lightweight and perfect size whether you r making a salad dressing or baking mix.Date published: 2014-08-07Rated 4 out of 5 by griffinb from open stock I have these bowls in red and love them but a child broke the bottom out of one with her over-zealous mixing. Then I broke the small 1 qt. bowl. PLEASE, consider an open-stock selling option!!!Date published: 2014-07-05
