Rated 3 out of 5 by nickie409 from Do not think it will hold up So I have had cheap bamboo tools for years and decided to upgrade to Littledeer about 6 months ago. When they first arrived, I was in love! They feel and look so good! After all of this time of careful use and cleaning, the edge is soft and kind of smashed down. It says if this happens to sand it back into shape so I expected this to happen at some point, just not quite so soon. My cheap bamboo sets never did this (I know different material). I just expected these high priced tools to last better that a $6 set! If I am sanding down ever 6 months or so, they will need to be thrown out at some point. I was hoping these would be a long lasting set based on a few reviews I had read. Maybe they are using inferior material or maybe I got a soft one.Date published: 2017-03-22Rated 5 out of 5 by QueenOfSandwich from AWESOME PADDLE Got this paddle because of the great reviews and because it was solid wood so I thought it wouldn't chip. I love this paddle, and when my family visited they commented on how much they liked it too. Works super well, and beautiful. Just bought another 3 of these to give as gifts this holiday.Date published: 2016-09-18Rated 3 out of 5 by CatChefNYC from Arrived Chipped This paddle arrived with two splintered chips on the flat edge. The size and shape of the paddle itself is very nice. It's pleasing in the hand and easy to use. But the chips do bother me. And I imagine it will chip even more with use. I would love to find a similar one of better quality.Date published: 2015-05-19Rated 5 out of 5 by stlchef from Left Hander's Necessity A pleasure to use, this finely crafted kitchen tool is an absolute necessity for lefties. The wood is handsome and well designed - perfect for the job. This is not just any wooden kitchen tool, it is exceptional.Date published: 2014-10-16Rated 5 out of 5 by klsfks from Great kitchen tool Great design, multitude of uses--scramble, stir-fry, cookies. It's a spatula and serving spoon build into one. Plus, it's beautiful. It's my go-to utensil!Date published: 2013-10-31Rated 5 out of 5 by Deedle from Littledeer Paddle This is a beautiful wooden paddle to use for protecting your nonstick pans, etc. A very good design and weight.Date published: 2013-05-03Rated 5 out of 5 by Autumn923 from A must-have in the kitchen I put this on Christmas wishlist last year. I was in need of a wooden turner to avoid further scratching my de Buyer pan (I wasn't careful and used my stainless steel turner). I couldn't justify spending almost $30 on a turner. I didn't know if I was going to get this turner, so I actually bought a $6 bamboo turner thinking it will do. However, the first time I used it, it already started blistering. I was psyched when I got this as my Christmas gift. It really does deliver everything as described. An excellent product. I also bought the Littledeer tongs recently, which is equally as versatile and useful. The craftmanship and quality is obvious when you get your hands on one. Worth-every-penny.Date published: 2013-02-22Rated 5 out of 5 by ItalianCoffeeLover from Versatile cooking tool I've had this for nearly 2 years now. It was my first Littledeer and started my love affair with this brand. Nice weighting and handle fits comfortably in hand. But most importantly the curved wide blade (for lack of a better term) makes it my most versatile cooking tool. Great for flipping, stirring and lifting. I've even used it to cut and serve cornbread! Even though I have used it for stir fry I prefer the smaller Ici silicone (non-slotted) spatula for this as the smaller head makes it easier to control the bits of food I'm frying.Date published: 2012-12-26
