Prepared in authentic French style, this puff pastry dough has an infinite number of sweet and savory uses. The dough is made according to the prizewinning all-butter pâte feuilletée of French-born master pastry chef Jean Yves Charon’s. It arrives frozen and can be pulled from the freezer as needed, baking up light, flaky and golden. It’s perfect for making canapés, cheese straws, savory tarts, brie en croûte or using as a topping for potpies.
The puff pastry is shipped frozen with dry ice, which may evaporate during shipment. This is normal. Please take care not to touch any remaining dry ice with bare hands. Upon receipt, store the puff pastry dough in the freezer where it will keep up to 6 months frozen.
Place the frozen puff pastry sheets on a parchment-lined baking sheet, transfer to the refrigerator and let thaw for 3 to 4 hours. Use the puff pastry sheets as directed in your recipe.
