These down-home preserves showcase the natural sweetness of ripe local blueberries, handpicked in Tennessee’s Great Smoky Mountains. Artisans craft the preserves in small batches, adding only golden cane sugar and a splash of lemon juice so that the fruit takes center stage. Because these old-fashioned preserves are made without pectin, they have a thinner, more delicate consistency than most high-sugar, mass-produced jams.
