All-Clad Perforated Multipot, 8-Qt.
Rated 5 out of 5 by AnnB1 from Will Get Much Use This seems to be the same quality as my other all clads even though made in China which I am not too fond of but would not want to think about what it would cost for this size all Clad made here. I used t last night and it was fine, it brought my water to a boil in 17 minutes, from cold, half full - I have an induction range. I am short and over 60 but had no difficulty using this pot. I really like it and will be using it 2-3 times a week, it takes the place of another pasta pot whose handle came off so I got all clad because I know that will never happen with this pot. The other pot had much thinner metal and came to a boil much faster and all my all clads are a bit slower but so much better so I don't mind the slightly extra time, just make allowances for it. It also replaces another larger pot that I use for corn and dried beans mostly, it was enamel on steel but the enamel wore through so I got rid of that pot too. It will be a workhorse pot and get much use. Love it!Date published: 2016-12-21Rated 5 out of 5 by sls7511cmc from Great Multipurpose Pot I used this for the first time to brine the TG turkey. It was perfect. I just love it!Date published: 2016-11-25Rated 5 out of 5 by LilyCat from Large Multi-pot I loved it, but it was a gift for someone else. The size was too big for her home so she returned it. Her loss!Date published: 2015-12-16Rated 5 out of 5 by wittkim from It's Bigger Than You Think My husband bought this for me as a gift. I like it a lot, but know that it's really big. It is great for hosting gatherings where you need a lot of pasta! It's also surprisingly easy to clean.Date published: 2015-10-26Rated 5 out of 5 by rigged from It's All Clad, need I say more? Another great product from All Clad. Great size. Great versatility. I highly recommend this multi-pot.Date published: 2015-10-14Rated 5 out of 5 by SueCT from The bomb for making stock! Love the 12 quart! Use it every time I make stock. Ingredients go into the basket and lift out when done. It is great for corn, would be perfect for lobster. I wash the basket right away or fill with soapy water and don't find it a pain to wash. You need a large burner for this pot. My electric stove with 11" burner takes 20 minutes to bring it from very cold water to boiling with pot covered. If your largest burner is 8 or 9" wide you are going to have a problem because the pot is 10 1/2 inches wide and it will take a lot longer. It is heavy when full because there is so much in it! It is also tall. It is about 14" tall with the basket in it, and you will probably need at least 24 inches above your stove to pull the basket out when it is on top of the stove or you will have to move it first. If you have all that you will probably love it like I do.Date published: 2015-03-03Rated 5 out of 5 by AirForceRetired from What a Pot! Awesome pot and ready for a myriad of tasks. Watch the size as it might have a storage challange in some kitchens. If space if tight, stick with the 8 qt or smaller.Date published: 2014-07-15Rated 5 out of 5 by Marty47 from My Favorite Gift This pot is deep and contains all splatters when slowly cooking sauces, jellies, and preserves. The two baskets give the pot great versatility by enabling its use for blanching or steaming. It's easy to clean. This pot is a must-have for anyone who loves cooking.Date published: 2014-07-06
