Return Policy
At Williams-Sonoma, we take great pride in the quality and craftsmanship of our products. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase for any reason, please return the item for an exchange or refund of the merchandise value.
- An original receipt or gift receipt is required for all returns.
- Returns with the original purchase receipt will be exchanged or refunded in the original tender.
- Returns with a gift receipt will be exchanged or refunded with a merchandise credit for the value indicated on the gift receipt.
- We cannot accept returns of personalized or monogrammed merchandise or direct-ship or special-order items except when due to defect.
- Made-to-order upholstered items, Quick Ship items and fabric by the yard cannot be returned but may be cancelled only within 24 hours of order placement. Should your item arrive damaged or with a defect, please contact us at 877.812.6235 within 7 days so that we may arrange for a replacement. Bed frames and springs are warranted to be free of manufacturing defects for the product's life, subject to the following conditions: warranty applies only to original owner and normal residential use. Defects resulting from negligence, abuse or use in a commercial, hospitality or other non-residential setting are not covered.
- We cannot accept returns of final-sale furniture, lighting or rugs with prices ending in .99.
- For returns of items purchased from your Williams-Sonoma Gift Registry, we will gladly provide an exchange for the merchandise within 90 days of your event or within 90 days of purchase, whichever date is later. These returns will be exchanged as a merchandise credit for the value indicated on the gift receipt.
How to Return an Item:
Regularly-priced items may be returned at any Williams-Sonoma retail store or through the mail. Sale merchandise (ending in ".99") purchased online or through the catalog cannot be returned at retail stores and must be shipped back to us for an exchange, credit or refund to be granted.
To send an item back, complete the Return Form attached to the invoice or gift receipt that accompanied your Williams-Sonoma merchandise. In the appropriate box on the Return Form, indicate the reason for the return and the action to be taken: replacement or merchandise credit. Place the Return Form in the box with your merchandise. Be sure to tear off the top portion of the form and keep it for your records.
