Apart from checking whether you have enough clearance for the pendant lights, you can also make the task easier for your contractor by visualizing the possible mounting points for your pendant lights. It is a good idea to have more than one option for the mounting points just in case your contractor determines that your first choices for mounting points are not ideal.
