Grill Pans & Griddles

While some use the term grill pans and griddles interchangeably, there is one major difference between the two and that is the presence of the raised ridges on the grill. These ridges give your meat sear marks, replicating the same marks you get when cooking on an actual grill. Both induction grill pans and griddles are essential components to your induction cookware set owing to their practical design and versatility. As far as the materials go, our line of induction grill pans and griddles come in cast iron, stainless-steel and anodized aluminum. Cast-iron cookware is typically ready for induction cooking, but it is wise to choose those pieces that have the induction-ready seal. Cast-iron grill pans and griddles are very durable, capable of handling high temperatures and are able to retain heat after removal from the heat source. Just like traditional cast-iron cookware, induction grill pans and griddles go from stove top to the oven safely, which is helpful when making sure that you cook thick slices of steak well and through. Another plus for you when cooking with cast-iron cookware is that it infuses your food with iron.


Stainless-steelis another common material in induction cookware. This material conducts heat fast and distributes it evenly, which makes it an ideal choice for searing meat and for fast cooking. Stainless-steel also does not react to food, which means that it does not affect the food’s taste. Although stainless-steel cookware is lighter in comparison to cast iron, it is also very durable and resistant to rust and corrosion.


Anodized aluminum combines the heat-retaining abilities of cast-iron cookware and the resistance to rust and corrosion of stainless-steel. However, make sure to select grill pans and griddles with a thick stainless-steel base. Another advantage of aluminum cookware is that it is very lightweight
