Trilby #2

This cocktail calls for Famous Grouse, a brand of blended Scotch whiskey. Parfait amour, a purple-colored liqueur, exhibits flavors of orange, vanilla, rose and almond.

Ingredients:

  • Ice as needed
  • 1 1/2 oz. Famous Grouse
  • 3/4 oz. Dolin sweet vermouth
  • 1/2 oz. parfait amour
  • 2 dashes of orange bitters
  • 2 dashes of absinthe

Directions:

In a cocktail shaker half filled with ice, combine the Famous Grouse, vermouth, parfait amour, orange bitters and absinthe and shake until well chilled, 20 to 30 seconds. Strain into a martini glass and serve immediately. Serves 1.
