A refreshing drink popular in Mexico, the paloma is often made with grapefruit soda, but here we’ve used freshly squeezed grapefruit juice instead for a refreshing drink that's perfect for spring and summer celebrations.

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 oz. (45 ml) blanco tequila
  • 3 oz. (90 ml) fresh grapefruit juice
  • 2 oz. (60 ml) sparkling water
  • Thin lime slices for garnish

Directions:

In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, combine the tequila and grapefruit juice. Shake vigorously until well chilled, about 30 seconds, then strain into an ice-filled glass. Top with the sparkling water and stir gently to combine. Garnish with lime slices and serve immediately. Makes 1 drink.
