Developed by Just a Taste founder Kelly Senyei, this recipe is a robust mix of savory bites and sweet surprises that are sewn together in this no-bake snack that gets its name from Sally, the spooky heroine of The Nightmare Before Christmas. Customize your blend with your favorite Halloween candy for the perfect balance of salty and sweet in every bite.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups (8 1/2 oz./265 g) mini pretzels
  • 2 cups (4 oz./110 g) caramel popcorn
  • 2 cups (3 oz./90 g) Chex cereal
  • 1 cup (2 oz./60 g) cheddar crackers such as Cheez-Its or Goldfish crackers
  • 1 cup (3 oz./80 g) sesame sticks
  • 1/2 cup (2 oz./60 g) roasted pepitas
  • 1/2 cup (2 oz./60 g) candy corn (optional)
  • 1/2 cup (3 oz./80 g) gummy worms (optional)

Directions:

In a large bowl, mix together the pretzels, popcorn, cereal, crackers, sesame sticks and pepitas. Stir in the candy corn and gummy worms. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 weeks. Makes 8 servings.
