And our exclusive Instant Pot Italian Herb Quinoa Starter—a blend of quinoa, long-grain rice, bell pepper, garlic and spices—means you can prepare it in a matter of minutes even on the busiest of weeknights.

Ingredients:

  • 1 jar Instant Pot Italian Herb Quinoa Starter
  • 3 cups (24 fl. oz./750 ml) water or low-sodium chicken broth
  • 1 cup (1 oz./30 g) baby arugula leaves (optional)

Directions:

Combine the starter and water in an Instant Pot. Lock the lid in place, seal and set to cook at high pressure for 9 minutes. When the pressure cooking is complete, let the pressure release naturally for 10 minutes, then quick release the remaining steam.

Carefully remove the lid, then remove the inner pot from the cooker to prevent the quinoa from overcooking. Transfer to a serving dish, garnish with the arugula leaves and serve immediately. Serves 4 to 6.
