Aperol Sour

Created by the beverage experts at Bourbon & Branch in San Francisco, this cocktail calls for aperol, an Italian aperitif that is bright orange in color and has a bittersweet taste.

Ingredients:

  • Ice as needed
  • 2 oz. aperol
  • 3/4 oz. fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 oz. Simple Syrup
  • 1 oz. egg white
  • Grapefruit twist for garnish

Directions:

In a cocktail shaker filled halfway with ice, combine the aperol, lemon juice, simple syrup and egg white and shake until well chilled, 20 to 30 seconds. Strain into a martini glass, garnish with a grapefruit twist and serve immediately. Serves 1.
