Rated 1 out of 5 by TXMomO3 from Worst frying pan set I've ever owned! I bought this frying pan set at my local Williams Sonoma store about 8 months ago because I wanted to try the new ceramic nonstick surface that everyone has been recommending. This was a set they recommended in the store. They were okay at first but after only a few weeks of use (I use them at least several time a week) they seemed to have lost their non-stick feature. Part of the reason I bought these pans was to use less oils and butter when cooking but look at the attached picture. This is after I scrambled 2 eggs with plenty of butter to grease the pan before I started. I rechecked all of the care instructions to see if I had cared for them as recommended and I had. I am disappointed at the performance of these pans which cost much more than their cheaper counterparts in other stores. I would definitely not recommend these pans!Date published: 2017-07-13Rated 5 out of 5 by Flappy Jack from Sleek and stylish It's great that they offer these two sizes in a "value" pack. These have quickly become part of my daily breakfast ritual. Great for fried eggs, omelets and pancakes.Date published: 2017-07-08Rated 1 out of 5 by 1000 from Disappointing, but an Easy Return/Refund I won't presume to tell other reviewers that they "are doing something wrong" because it is possible that there is an inconsistency in production that accounts for the wide variety of reviews here. I know how to cook. I know how to care for all my cookware. My experience was that the pans started out non-stick and quickly lost that feature. I recommend buying a quality teflon pan, taking good care of it, and using it only when a non-stick pan is necessary at no more than medium temperature. Use a well-seasoned iron pan for higher temperature non-stick applications. Williams-Sonoma was excellent at dealing with my return. Thanks!Date published: 2017-07-01Rated 5 out of 5 by timb from Great cookware i have had these pans for a year, and like them so much i purchased sets of pots and fry pans for all four of our kitchens. Probably have 20 items in all sizes. Durable, attractive, heat up evenly, cook evenly, and clean up fast. Let them cool off before cleaning, and use a little butter, olive oil. etc. Maybe not the pan for those that think they should cook without oil, (those pans do not exist other than the fantasy of late night infomercials) and they are not going to compensate for those that cant cook. Also, I never use metal utilensils and clean only with hot water. If these don't work for you, you are doing something wrong.Date published: 2017-05-19Rated 5 out of 5 by bettyblue from Slick! All I wanted was a small omelette pan for my husband. He has been a professional chef for close to forty years and is very partial to Zwilling knives so I thought I'd give it a go. The pan heats quickly, has consistent heat, the surface is super slick and nothing sticks to it, cleans up quickly, and flips a fried egg with ease. We use ONLY non stick utensils, let the pan cool before washing, and treat it according to directions. Other reviews that complain of losing its non stick ability are like people who complain their knives are dull but do not hone before each use. Sure manufacture defects occur but operator error is usually to blame.Date published: 2017-04-27Rated 5 out of 5 by NatL from Zwilling Nonstick I purchased the smaller nonstick fry pan with a wedding gift card a little over a year ago. Loved it when we bought it, love it still. I make sure to never use metal utensils so it doesn't scratch, and maintains its nonstick properties. I always use olive oil, butter etc. when cooking, but I have never had a problem with food sticking or with food being tough to clean. Love it, purchased this set because I use my smaller one all the time!Date published: 2017-04-10Rated 1 out of 5 by mcgcook from Totally Disappointed Bought less than 3mos ago and the pans have no non-stick properties. I will be returning at the earliest opportunity and hoping William Sonoma stands by the support for this brand and product.Date published: 2017-03-21Rated 1 out of 5 by Ang123 from Looses non stick pretty quickly Have owned all these pans for less than a year, the pans that we use frequently lost their non stick ability after 6 months, now all are bad.Date published: 2017-03-09
