Rated 5 out of 5 by PMcPhail5 from Love this Set This set is amazing! Great quality, cooks well, and cleans up beautiful! Can’t wait to collect more pieces. Maybe a couple of the copper ones also!Date published: 2019-03-18Rated 2 out of 5 by Lauren from Too heavy, noisy I've had this set for several years and it replaced a similar set from All Clad, which lasted me about 15-16 years. I doubt I'll be able to keep the Williams Sonoma cookware that long. Most noticeable is that these pans are extraordinary heavy. I'm athletic, in my 40's, normal height and build, yet I struggle to lift these pans with one hand. And forget about using a lid to strain liquids, once these pans are filled, it's a two-handed ordeal. Next is the clattery lids. Other sets might rattle around, but a quick adjustment is usually ask it takes to quiet a lid. These lids are so heavy that they insist on banging around once a liquid is bubbling, and no amount of turning or tapping stops it. I've been happy with other WS brand purchases, but this one is a total miss for me. In daily life, after years of use, I'm not a fan.Date published: 2018-12-30Rated 2 out of 5 by Andrew from Nice product but would not recomend - no warranty After a little less then a year of use my saute pan lid developed a pin hole sized opening along the wield of the lid, when in use it fills with steam, it deforms the top and then shrinks back down after it cools. I called Williams Sonoma but was very surprised to learn they offer no warranty at all on their own branded cookware. I would therefore recommend you purchase all clad who stands behind their craftsmanship. Shame on me for not noticing Williams Sonoma does not stand behind their products after 30 days.Date published: 2018-12-11Rated 5 out of 5 by Steve from Excellent Set I bought this cookware set about six months ago and I have been extremely happy with it. This was my first stainless steel cooking set, so I was a little hesitant with the purchase. If you’re on the fence about purchasing these pans don’t be, go buy them. I consider them one of my wiser buys. I cook on them daily, and just truly enjoy it...Date published: 2018-10-27Rated 5 out of 5 by drp1270 from I LOVE this cookware! I have used mostly high end non-stick cookware for many years but noticed the coating was wearing down. I cook a lot. I have found this cookware superior to others I have used. The first thing I made were thick pork chops and multiple sides including gravy. Everything was perfect and my fears of everything sticking were unfounded. I have gone on to make eggs and other things as normal and have found no issues such as hot spots or everything sticking more than normal because it is not "non-stick". With a little know how and the proper cooking mediums (a little oil or butter), I find this cookware very easy to use. Probably the only thing I have had to adjust to is they are a little heavier than my old cookware but I find that a positive and not negative. I love the sizes, depth and sizes, and specifically the handles on the William Sonoma cookware is a little more ergonomic than other high end ware. I have been nothing but satisfied and highly recommend the Williams Sonoma Signature Thermo-Clad Stainless-Steel cookware!Date published: 2018-06-02Rated 5 out of 5 by LizK from Amazing Set! I have been using these for years and absolutely love them. They are not only great to cook with but are beautiful. Get the Bar Keeper's Friend to wash the stains away.Date published: 2018-01-30Rated 5 out of 5 by Rayito100 from Great cooking and easy to clean! This beautiful Thermo-Clad stainless steel cookware arrived a week ago and I've cooked on them every day. They're so inspiring that I'm trying new recipes, too! I followed the directions and never cooked on high heat and allowed them to cool before cleaning. They warm up quickly and clean easily. I soaked a few pans with hot water and the food easily came off when cleaned with soap and sponge. For some pans that had a little residue, I used Bar Keepers Friend with the sponge side it cleaned my pans so they stayed shiny and new! I absolutely love my set!Date published: 2017-09-11Rated 5 out of 5 by Jancs from Happy for three years and counting! finally replaced my 30+ year old Farbarware pots and pans with the WS thermo-clad pans after looking at lots of others on the market. After three years, I'm still very happy with them. I got used to the heavier weight and now don't think anything about it. I enjoy even cooking! The large handles are so much easier to hold than the handles of other popular brands of similar pans. The lids fit well and their handles stay cool enough to the touch. I never, not once felt any sharp edges. I wash the pans by hand and about once a month I use a little Bar Keeper's Friend to make them look like brand new. I do have some scratches on the bottoms of the insides of the pans, but I figure that will probably happen to all pans...doesn't bother me.Date published: 2017-03-02

What is a "limited lifetime warranty"? Andrew, the most recent reviewer, said that W-S refused to assist him with a 1 year old pan that developed a hole. I would think that is a manufacturing defect that would be covered. Can I order a lid to fit the Williams Sonoma Signature Thermo-Clad™ Stainless-Steel 12" frying pan? The non-stick version of the 12" frying pan has such a lid. I'd buy any thermo-clad stainless steel set that comes with that lid, or separate fry pan.Hi Rick, Unfortunately, we do not offer an open stock stainless-steel lid to fit the 12" fry pan. Additionally, the lid doesn't exist in any of the stainless-steel cookware sets. The only set you can get the lid with is the 12" nonstick fry pan set.Date published: 2019-03-29
