Rated 1 out of 5 by danielle from save yourself If I could give these a negative 5 stars, I would. They were so expensive, and the second we used them they looked like props from little house on the prairie. I would have sought then elsewhere for 1/4 the price if i knew they would be such bad quality. The metal is so worn from just 3 uses you can't even see the measurement labels on the handles anymore. Save yourself!Date published: 2019-06-25Rated 1 out of 5 by Iryna from Don't waste your money The copper finish - as these are not pure copper - came off in a few weeks. It looks awful now and I've only washed them by hand.Date published: 2019-01-24Rated 1 out of 5 by Suzie from Do Not Buy Unless You Like Giving Away Your Money I have purchased more than a few measuring cups and spoons at other vendors which all break, turn funky colors, etc. With WS high degree of quality items, I did not hesitate at the rather high cost because I thought I was making an investment. WRONG, WRONG WRONG! I bought them 3 months ago and they have always been handwashed just like directed. But the pretty brushed on/sprayed on copper color left after the second washing, you can't even read the cup denominations anymore which must have been printed in the brushed on/sprayed on copper color. I am so dissappointed with WS, I have spent thousands of dollars of merchandise from them in the past because the products held up. Not anymore. I just reviewed my purchases for the last several years and they include the butter croissants, can't beat those, and their yearly dish holiday dish towels.Date published: 2018-02-21Rated 1 out of 5 by BUUZBEE from Finish wears away The copper finish wore away after a couple of uses... very poorly made.Date published: 2018-01-23Rated 1 out of 5 by Bruises from Bad Quality I bought these measuring cups and spoons even though they have bad reviews because I trust WS will not bring us a inferior product. I just receive them last week and the handle of the 1/4 cup fell off even before I had a chance to use it. Very disappointed.Date published: 2017-11-30Rated 1 out of 5 by paleo from Disappointed I was quite excited to purchase new measuring cups and spoons however the plating is wearing off. The measuring cups are no longer attractive due to the wear. I hand wash the measuring cups and spoons.Date published: 2017-11-17Rated 4 out of 5 by SparkleInSac from Nice Set of Cups/Spoons I have used these non-stop for the past year with great performance. I hand wash and the metals look fantastic! I love the oval shape of the measuring cups - easier to release the contents compared to round. I gave 4 stars only due to no 1/8 teaspoon measurement included, but I halve my 1/4 teaspoon to achieve that! Overall, I am quite happy with this set. So pretty!Date published: 2017-07-23Rated 1 out of 5 by dailyhabit from cons outweigh the positives A great feature of these measuring cups is that they have measuring units labeled on the inside (for example, the "one cup" size has 3/4, 1/2, and 1/4). The spoons and cups easily stack together and are designed well for easily scooping ingredients out of jars. However, the copper plating on the "one cup" size began coming off after the first use. After 4 months of daily use and only being hand washed, the plating is rubbing off of the inside of each spoon and cup. At this price point I find that is unacceptable. In addition, the handles on the cups are not smoothly soldered leaving a small gap where attached to the cup. This space collects food and is difficult to keep clean. Again, I believe these are very poor quality for the price and thus I cannot recommend them.Date published: 2017-07-12
