Rated 2 out of 5 by Brooklyn243 from Hamburger seasoning The current seasoning mixture is good but pales in comparison to the original, which was discontinued several years ago. Please consider bringing back the original.Date published: 2015-11-29Rated 1 out of 5 by RachelfromKY from BRING BACK THE OLD VERSION I was very dissapointed to find out they had changed this recipe. I went to buy it and noticed the packaging had changed. I am glad I looked at it before I bought it. This was a hands down winner every time we had burgers. I hope they can bring it back. After reading the reviews I didn't even want to try the new one. PLEASE BRING IT BACK!Date published: 2015-11-12Rated 5 out of 5 by MollysMominSTL from This Seasoning is Excellent!! WOW, this Ultimate Burger Seasoning is fantastic!! Have used it on grilled burgers so far and they were excellent, even my son commented on how good the flavor was. Can't wait to try on pork, chicken and steaks. I will definitely be buying more of this!!Date published: 2015-03-16Rated 1 out of 5 by callamae from Bring back original Recipe (Hamburger Seasoning) I was sorry to learn that W.S. had gone and changed a good thing. Fortunately I kept the old can of Hamburger Seasoning so was able to compare ingredients/contents. First item on old recipe were onions vs soy fillers now using, and then they added parmesian? The mushrooms are new also and can overpower. I don't understand why mess with a good thing. Plus the price increased by 95 cents and the oz decreased from 3.6 to 3. The Store Clerk said they found a cheaper Distributor and that's why the change -- I can see why it is cheaper, FOR THEM. Please don't fix what wasn't broke. Returned it...not work the money at all.Date published: 2014-10-05Rated 1 out of 5 by AJB119 from Disappointed Bought this thinking it was just new packaging for the Hamburger seasoning (in the black tin). We were very disappointed to see that it changed completely. We had used the previous version in so many different dishes that the new version can't compare to. It also has a very strong mushroom smell to it that overpowers the other flavors. Hoping they bring back the previous hamburger seasoning maybe in addition to this flavor.Date published: 2014-06-20Rated 5 out of 5 by cyambert from Great For Turkey Burgers! I just used this product for the first time last night in making turkey burgers. I did add one egg and panko bread crumbs along with two tablespoons of the seasoning to ground turkey. It was fantastic! I highly recommend it.Date published: 2014-05-23Rated 5 out of 5 by Zuckererbse from Very tasty! Take it from the girl from Hamburg, the land of the original burger - this spice mix is delicious. Very easy and quick to prepare. Once formed put the burgers back into the fridge to chill and let the seasoning do its magic to the meat before throwing them onto the grill.Date published: 2013-09-30
