Rated 5 out of 5 by Bdg123abc from Best nonstick I’ve ever owned A lot of poor reviews on here. I never heat these pans above medium. I never put them in water to clean unless they are cold. I never use a harsh soap or put them in the dishwasher. I never use anything but nylon utensils. Eggs slide out of them like magic.Date published: 2019-06-01Rated 1 out of 5 by Kmm22 from Couldn’t Handle the Test of Time Going on three years of ownership and this pan has become worse and worse over time. We have hand washed and oil the pan each time but it now has almost no nonstick abilities whatsoever. Simply did not live up to the price and quality of the William Sonoma brand.Date published: 2019-05-25Rated 5 out of 5 by ClintonK from Confused by poor ratings I've had two of these for over a year and I absolutely love them. I can't understand the negative reviews because I would give mine 10 stars. They are literally the perfect pans for omelettes. I did ruin the nonstick surface on one by putting it in the dishwasher, but the care instructions recommend hand washing. If you have an induction cooktop, want to make professional-quality omelettes (use two eggs, level 5, reduce to level 2) and don't mind a quick hand wash, these pans are for you.Date published: 2019-03-25Rated 3 out of 5 by suzysunday from One problem - pans are not flat on inside These pans seem almost great (I've only used them a few times) except for one issue. The inside of the pan is slightly convex so any liquid quickly pools to the outer edges. I saw that one review said this happens when they're heated but mine are just make this way - hot or cold. Seems very strange.Date published: 2019-02-26Rated 1 out of 5 by DSP1 from Very Poor Non-Stick Ability We bought these pans in 2 different sizes because we changed to an induction range. Very poor non-stick ability. Hard to clean. Waist of money and expected better from WS. Purchased All-Clad non-stick and love it. Not recommended at all.Date published: 2019-02-09Rated 1 out of 5 by upstateMom from Bows up when heated I was very excited about this pan, but when it heats up, the middle of the pan rises slightly so that the surface is no longer flat! This makes all my cooking oil run to and accumulate around the edge of the pan so that the food in the middle sticks and burns. Plus the ‘finish’ has chipped all over from gentle Taos with my spatula. Very dissatisfied!Date published: 2019-01-31Rated 1 out of 5 by Pam H from If You Have An Induction Range... I should have given the reviews more thought. Having an induction range, I had to increase heat to 6.6 just to scramble eggs. In fairness, I’ve used the pan twice for eggs & they release easily for an omelet but I have to watch them constantly. The pan bottom is not flush enough to work at an optimum (egg) induction heat level & perhaps this pan was not vetted by WS? I had never before tried a ceramic pan but now will gift this one to someone w/a gas range because we are unable to return a close-out item. I would not recommend this pan to anyone wanting to use it on an induction range.Date published: 2018-11-12Rated 5 out of 5 by christine750 from Soo nonstick & easy to clean! I've been using Calphalon nonstick fry pans for about 20 years, having to replace them every 8 years or so when they got scratched or started turning brown (???). Saw this on sale and couldn't resist the price. Have only had it for a few weeks, but I love it! While I still try to use non-metal utensils with it for eggs, bacon, sautéing onions, frying a burger, etc., the occasional metal spatula doesn't seem to bother it. And its soooo easy to clean with a soapy sponge, I don't see why anyone would bother wasting space on it in a dishwasher.Date published: 2018-10-28
