Rated 1 out of 5 by Absinthiste from Useless Way too small for most apples. Bought a second batch of apples and made sure they were smaller. Instead of slicing through them, it's more like a crush/chop. Would be nice if they made this larger and cuts thinner wedges. But the thing I hate about it is the "blades" are not sharp at all. Too late to return.Date published: 2019-01-30Rated 5 out of 5 by Oreo65 from Perfect slicer for juicing For me this apple slicer is speedy and perfect for slicing apples for juicing.Date published: 2016-01-02Rated 5 out of 5 by Jeanuine from So great, someone stole it No really, obviously I talked this little slicer up way to much. Left my lunch box at work way to many times overnight, and poof, no more apple slicer. I had it for years, and quite honestly, I've had others and nothing compared. The blades are sharp. I've done small and big apples, you just have to put a little elbow grease into pushing down on the bigger ones. I just ordered a new one today from here, the one that adjusts to smaller size slices, for the holidays, but I'm sure I'm going to stop by their store soon in Tampa and pick this one back up too while CHRISTmas shopping. Gifts cooks give themselves and all. I just will have to get a tracking device for it. LOLDate published: 2015-11-17Rated 2 out of 5 by River3 from Dull blades The blades are too dull. It's like smashing an apple instead of cutting it. I wanted something simple and non bulky which it is. I like that it is made of stainless steel and I like the design. Just need to put sharper blades on it.Date published: 2015-07-31Rated 3 out of 5 by JessRecipe from Works Great for Small Apples I bought this product for my husband who wanted a quick way to slice apples into "smiles". It works great for small apples like red delicious and golden delicious. It's much too small for slicing the average pink lady apple or honeycrisp apple, which is what I was usually buying. However, it cuts through littler apples like butter--those blades are very sharp.Date published: 2015-06-01
