Rated 3 out of 5 by Kelanne from Handle will snap over time Have had for some years(but less than 6), and use often. Being a "loop" handle just soldered to the mesh frame, it has the potential to weaken and snap off. First usually one side piece and then if continued use..the second, to have no handle use at all. Yes, it can be soldered if you have the equipment to do but it's just a wear-over-time-flaw. A solid handled(one piece compared to the two joint points) would be a better purchase. I have now discarded and moved on to an OXO(about same price). Only when 8" All Clad mesh strainer with it's solid handle is sold on W-S separately(who needs three size set??), will I purchase that. Surely All Clad has available on their site.Date published: 2019-01-02Rated 1 out of 5 by BooBoo from Not so much I bought this about 20 years ago. Still use it but it had to be repaired twice already, Once within about a month of purchase one side of the handle dislodged from the ring base. Fixed by my dad with a brass screw. Again about a month ago the other side came apart. Good news is my dad's fix worked. Also, food gets trapped under the ring securing the mess. I would expect higher quality for the price and Williams and Sonoma.Date published: 2018-01-09Rated 5 out of 5 by BringOnTheBeef from Great strainer I bought this to replace my favorite strainer that died after 35 years. This is a high quality strainer that is perfect for my kitchen. Made well, easy to clean, perfect size.Date published: 2017-04-22Rated 5 out of 5 by JanE17 from Well made! I purchased this strainer to sift flour. It does a good job and found that the construction is very solid. I was also pleasantly surprised that it was larger than it appeared.Date published: 2016-07-13Rated 5 out of 5 by Minneapple from Superfine Mesh Good deal. I thought the strainer I had was superfine until I got this one. This strainer has layers of mesh overlapping instead of just one layer.Date published: 2015-05-25
