Rated 1 out of 5 by skeptik from Broken This product snapped in half in just over 5 weeks of using it. Not good. To quote a great man, "Sad!"Date published: 2017-11-28Rated 3 out of 5 by ktkt from Sautéed onion Magnet I sauté onions a lot, and all the onions stick to this spoon. Why don't they make sauté spatula with holes? The plastic is quite cheap material and can see the glue between the stainless steel handle and the plastic spoon. Not worth the price.Date published: 2017-11-20Rated 5 out of 5 by CAnn221 from The best spoon!! I love the long handle of this spoon, the nice sized serving it produces and it's overall functionality. It's easy to clean. I wish that more flat edged spoons were made. They are completely awesome to clear the bottom of a pot or any dish. You will not be disappointed. This a repeat purchase for me since I love my first.Date published: 2016-06-27Rated 5 out of 5 by Morgen from My Go-To Utensil Now Since this nonstick saute spoon arrived here, I use it almost exclusively whenever I prepare dinner. IIRC it can be used in heat as high as 500 degrees, so I use it fearlessly when I am sauteing, whether or not it is with a nonstick pan. The end is also big enough to allow me to comfortably lift food from the pan without worrying about it falling off, but it is not so big as to impede its use in my saute pans.Date published: 2015-07-26Rated 5 out of 5 by ScottishTerrierLover from Own most of these non stick utensils These non stick cooking utensils are my favorite, I have them all. I've had no issues using them with my non stick Calphalon cookware. They are large and take some getting use to but I did. They clean up easily and look so nice hanging out in my stainless steel utensil holder on the kitchen counter. I do have one complaint - WS, why did you discontinue the fish spatula? I have one and wanted another and before I could order it, it became unavailable. Why why why? I loved the thinness, look and function of this spatula. Please bring it back!Date published: 2015-03-07Rated 5 out of 5 by KayLeo from Great design! I love how they combined a spatula and a spoon into one awesome cooking tool! It is so versatile! The nylon is very easy to clean and the handles feel great in the hand. This is one of my favorite cooking tools to use when I am cooking on my Calphalon Elite Saute pan. Elite cookware is supposedly metal utensil safe, but I use nonstick safe tools anyway as a precaution.Date published: 2014-06-04Rated 5 out of 5 by THREEBOYSMOM from Strong and Sturdy My son and I made some Guinness Stout Beef Stew in my 13 1/4 qt Le Creuset dutch oven (a WS purchase). The process began with browning the beef and the bones. I needed a strong tool that could turn the meat and bones but not scratch the enamel finish of the dutch oven- this did the job as well as a stainless steel tool would if I could have used one. (A lot of nonstick tools are mostly plastic and bend too easily.) It also was sturdy and large enough to stir the stew occasionally as the recipe called for- And unlike a wooden tool it was easy to clean- no staining or odor. The square shape gets into the corners of the pot/pan and the handle is very comfortable to grasp.Date published: 2014-01-15Rated 1 out of 5 by LISlowCooker from Returning this The quality of this spoon does not even come close to the outstanding quality of its stainless steel counterpart. While the handle appears to be well made, the spoon itself is utter junk. I was shocked by how cheap the material looked. I am not going to use it because I think it will scratch my nonstick pans as the material is extremely hard. As hard as it is, the material is thin and looks like it could easily snap in half. I'm returning this. I am extremely disappointed with this item and will not be looking into the rest of the nonstick line.Date published: 2014-01-09
