- Board stays cool, so it won't melt the butter as you roll out rich pastry and cookie doughs – your creations will bake up light, flaky and golden every time.
- Also ideal for shaping pizza and other yeast-leavened doughs.
- Crafted of white marble.
- Natural variations in marble make each board unique.

Rated 5 out of 5 by HappyKitchen from Very nice quality and size. I actually bought this to place on my dinner table for my husband and I to use instead of placemats. They are just a touch big for our small table, but I love them. Even my husband thought it looked nice and he is relatively clueless about home decor (didn't understand the concept of a table runner until this week). These are beautiful and neutral and would look wonderful on display with any color decor. They are also VERY heavy. I was concerned that my almost two year old daughter, who is quite big and strong for her age, might try to pull these off the table. Not a chance. Bam Bam's dream girl has met her match. Even I had a hard time moving them. If I wanted to use one for making pie crust or cookies, there is no way it would slide around my countertop. That said, a previous reviewer complained about "sticky pads" on the bottom for shipping. They are not for shipping. They are to protect your table or countertop from the heavy stone. They also provide some traction. There is no need to try to remove them. Anyway, we liked these so much we are going to try the honeycomb cheese boards on our small coffee table.Date published: 2019-03-02Rated 1 out of 5 by Homecook from Bad product I was so excited to purchase the pastry board and start using it right away. However, I was so disappointed when I received the board because there were cracks all over the board . The cracks were also filled with putty or glue and left a white powdery substance on the board. I would not be comfortable using this board to prepare food for my family.Date published: 2017-08-22Rated 5 out of 5 by Kmm32 from Great work surface As the previous reviewer said, this board is really 24x16, but personally I am happy to have the larger work surface. This board is sturdy and a good value.Date published: 2017-04-04Rated 5 out of 5 by Horsebits from Sturdy Slab I have been looking for a nice piece of marble at an affordable price for my baking need. This is a solid smooth chunk just for that. It has a very smooth honed finish not a shiny polished one. I keep this out on my counter all the time. It's too heavy to move around much. I don't want to risk dropping it and breaking it or my foot! I have enjoyed using it for various baking projects. You can even work with chocolate on it. When chocolate hardens, you can just scrape it off. It's great for working bread and cookies as well. It cleans up nicely. The size is good, too. The price for this size slab was the best I could find. I even watched for leftovers from someone's home remodel job, but nothing in the right size or price ever showed up. I've been very pleased with the decision to purchase this slab from WS. I expect to use it for many baking projects over the years.Date published: 2017-01-13Rated 4 out of 5 by Connor from INCORRECT SIZE, GREAT PRODUCT I ordered two of these boards for a project I was working on, and while they both arrived in perfect condition, both boards were 24" long instead of the 20" that is listed on the website. Depending on your countertop or application, the exact size may not be important. They are beautiful boards however I was disappointed that I had to pay to get them trimmed down at a local stone shop. The website needs updated with the correct dimension.Date published: 2017-01-04Rated 3 out of 5 by Csjones from Great product, bad shipping practices I love this marble board, it seems to be good quality (although on one side of it there seems to be some dicoloration), however the sticky pads to help keep the marble safe while being shipped left serious marks. I have tried to lightly scrub it off as to not damage the marble, but it doesn't seem to help. I made the board into a coffee table and it looks great, but since it is front and center I'm disappointed there is still residue from the stickies it was shipped with.Date published: 2016-08-03

Hello, what is the difference between this item and the other marble pastry board listed that is more expensive ($129)? Thank you!Hi Blair, The more expensive marble pastry board is crafted of white Macael marble, quarried from the Andalucia region of southern Spain. White Macael marble is a luminous stone with a characteristic brightness due to its composition characterized by the high degree of crystallization of its components. It has a radiant white color. The less expensive marble pastry board is made in India and has more grey-blue veining in it.Date published: 2019-04-27

Can you also use this as a cutting board? Since the surface is not sealed or polished, is this a problem?Hi cayce, A marble cutting board is considered to be more hygienic than other conventional types of cutting boards. However, a marble board has a very hard and non-porous top surface which can dull knives.Date published: 2018-12-24
