Rated 5 out of 5 by rich77 from Perfect Little Pot for Hot Chocolate & much more This is the most adorable little pot I have ever seen ! The styling, wooden handle, the color and the lid that can be used as a trivet all add up to the uniqueness of this pot. Dansk, the manufacturer has created a piece that is versatile, easy to clean and visually appealing in my kitchen.Date published: 2018-01-18Rated 5 out of 5 by Chicaree1235 from Handy multi-use pot - lid for aesthetics only Love this handy "does-it-all" pot. I use it to warm syrup for our holiday table as well as all of the uses suggested by other reviewers. Would LOVE to buy in other colors. Red is limited to holidays as it does not match my kitchen decor. White, black, charcoal, orange...... Please introduce this pot in other colors year-round, lid unnecessary since the idea of using it as a trivet is adorable but not practical, pot slides right off. Thanks so much.Date published: 2017-01-14Rated 5 out of 5 by KathyinVegas from Adorable looking hot chocolate pot Pot is a beautiful red color and cooks the hot chocolate perfectly! Can also be used to melt butter or other small items. Love that the top is a trivet - very ingenious!Date published: 2016-01-25Rated 5 out of 5 by wyoming99 from Love this pan! Have used this pan everyday. It's the right size to warm up leftovers, soup, or to boil water for tea. Looks cute on the stove. Very well made. I bought four of them for gifts. Please bring this one back!Date published: 2015-01-07Rated 5 out of 5 by NonnieMT7 from Perfect pot I love this little hot chocolate pot. While it is the perfect size for warming milk, it is also great for heating water for tea, and even for soup. Lovely for cold winter days! The wooden handle says cool during heating which is also nice. The only drawback I see is in using the lid as a trivet...not very sturdy and slides off easily. A lovely gift.Date published: 2015-01-03Rated 4 out of 5 by Lizzie217 from Cute, versatile little pot. W-S calls this a "hot chocolate pot," but it's a modified version of the Kobenstyle butter warmer; this pot is bigger, & it also has a lid. I finally got to use this and am very happy w/ it. I first used it to make W-S hot cocoa. The chocolate dissolved much more easily on the stove than my regular method, milk out of the microwave. Also used it to make garlic butter; it performed great. It heats evenly & pours cleanly. I'll also use it for small servings of soup, fondue, and sauce. Things to note: be careful about using steel utensils on this; they could scratch the enamel. Another thing is washing. Because of the wood handle, it is not dishwasher safe. Also, wait for it to cool before running water on it to wash; sudden changes in temperature aren't good for enameled cookware. Finally, the lid heats up on the stove, so the handle can get hot. However, there's an old trick for getting the lid off Kobenstyle pots without burning fingers: tuck a spoon under the handle & lift the lid off.Date published: 2014-12-08
