Rated 1 out of 5 by Michelle from Poor quality I received this board as a Christmas gift and was so excited because it is so large and can accommodate my cutting needs for a meal. I used it once and washed it, and it is coming apart on both ends. I am so sad. This is the first WS product that has been of poor quality.Date published: 2018-01-25Rated 1 out of 5 by TLIN from Warp alert We thought we were buying a forever cutting board and it seemed that way for the first couple months or so. Hubby got tired of handwashing it so most of the time, for most food prep and cutting jobs, we would lay a regular silicon/plastic board on top of it to use and then we wouldn't have to wash the WS board. Regardless, it inexplicably started to warp just sitting on our countertop. (Yes, we oiled it, too.) Oh well, the search continues...Date published: 2017-08-10Rated 1 out of 5 by Amber from Warped I bought two of these, one for my Mother and myself, and both have warped after about three of this of use. Yes we oiled it and has not been left in water. Would not purchase again.Date published: 2017-02-20Rated 2 out of 5 by TYBurk from Cutting board warped We have had this board for about 1 year. I have oiled it as directed and it never was in standing water. It is now warped for no apparent reason! I loved this until now. I think it should last longer than 1 year!Date published: 2016-06-22Rated 1 out of 5 by wendy116 from solid board but will not last Had it for about 3 months before it started cracking. Oiled with william sonoma oil per instruction, solid board but considering how long it lasted me, its not worth spending the money on it....Date published: 2015-12-16Rated 1 out of 5 by Jamesinkeys from No es bueno, amigos Heavy duty board, Thought would last forever. Proudly, prominently displaying William Sonoma name on the side. After two months or so, splitting at glue joints. Now, seriously rocking back and fourth. Hard to repair, cracks are slight, but the wood is warped ,never any standing water. Never, seen this before on a cutting board.. W.S. the best, buy all my kitchen goodies here...So, will try again with a more expensive, durable board..Sincerely James...Date published: 2015-11-21
