- Crafted of sustainably harvested North American hard rock maple.
- Hand sanded and finished.
- Finished with food-safe teak oil.
- Designed and made exclusively for Williams Sonoma in the USA.
- Dimensions & More Info
- Small: 15" x 11" x 3/4" thick; 2.25 lb.
- Medium: 18" x 13" x 3/4" thick; 5 lb.
- Made in USA.
- Use & Care
- Board should be seasoned with a food-grade mineral oil before first use.
- To season the board properly, apply the oil in the direction of the wood grain using a clean, dry cloth. Allow the oil to soak in and repeat with another application. Allow the board to dry and wipe off any excess oil.
- Hand-wash with hot, soapy water. Dry thoroughly.
- Do not soak or submerge board in water.
- Occasionally rub with a food-safe mineral oil to keep wood from drying out.
- To sanitize, wash the board with a solution of one part vinegar to five parts water.
- Remove odors by rubbing the board with kosher or table salt and half a lemon. Let sit for 2 to 3 minutes then wipe clean with a damp cloth. Remove excess moisture with a clean paper towel and stand the board on end to air dry.
- Store in a dry area away from extreme temperatures.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Nadia from Disappointing Used this less than a year and it warped and separated. Waste of money. Such poor quality from a company that I would expect to be better.Date published: 2019-04-30Rated 1 out of 5 by EmPe from terrible board This was given to us as a wedding gift a month ago. Within that time it has already warped. Really disappointed, it looked so pretty on our counter.Date published: 2018-06-25Rated 1 out of 5 by RandyM from Don't bother - splitting in a year Looks great, but doesn't last at all. Within a year it started to split and it's getting worse quickly.Date published: 2018-01-05Rated 1 out of 5 by Goalie from poor product I bought this about six months ago. It began to warp within the first month. Now it's beginning to crack at the seams. A little surprised Williams Sonoma would put it's name on such a cheap product. Just ordered a thicker one from another website, and this one is headed for the trash, though it would make excellent kindling.Date published: 2017-01-16Rated 2 out of 5 by david1969 from Poor Quality This cutting board worked well for about six months before developing a rather nasty crack (see picture). Although I did use it often, it was never put in a dishwasher, or left to sit in water, or abused in any way. I did give it two stars due to the fact the broken piece now works well (after sanding) as a board for charcuterie. Based on the poor quality of this item I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!Date published: 2016-11-09
