Our hearty sauce gets its farm-fresh character from California’s best artichokes. To showcase their rich, earthy flavors, we combine them with savory garlic and a fragrant hint of fennel. Chunky bits of onion, carrots and celery add robust flavor and texture. Just combine the sauce with sautéed chicken, pork or tofu, then transfer to the oven or slow cooker to finish cooking. Serve your braise with freshly cooked pasta or rice.

- Artichokes (artichoke hearts, water, salt, citric acid), fennel, chicken broth (filtered water, concentrated organic chicken stock; contains less than 2% of the following: organic cane sugar, organic chicken flavor [organic chicken, sea salt, organic gum arabic], organic vegetable stock [organic carrot, organic onion, organic celery, sea salt], yeast extract, salt, organic turmeric), white wine, onion, white balsamic vinegar, carrot, celery, olive oil, fennel seed, tomato paste, garlic, oregano, citric acid, rosemary, thyme, salt, chicken demi-glace (chicken stock, mirepoix stock [carrot, celery, onion stocks], roasted chicken stock, dried chicken stock, modified food starch, water, gelatin, salt, white wine, chicken fat), black pepper, bay leaf, water.

Next Day Delivery
For an additional charge of $26 per address, we can expedite delivery to most destinations. This service is not available for some oversize items, items shipped directly from the supplier (including perishable and custom-manufactured items), out-of-stock items and items to be shipped outside the contiguous 48 states.
Orders received by 9:00 p.m. ET Monday through Thursday will arrive the next business day; orders placed Friday through Sunday will arrive on the following Tuesday.
At Williams Sonoma, we take great pride in the quality and craftsmanship of our products. Attention to design, materials, safety and construction are our priority. Upon receipt, please inspect your purchase and notify us of any damage; we will arrange for a prompt replacement.
If within 30 days, you are dissatisfied for any reason, you may return your purchase for a refund of the merchandise value. An original receipt or gift receipt is required for all returns and exchanges. Returns with a gift receipt will be refunded in the form of a Merchandise Credit for the amount indicated on the gift receipt. Returns with original receipt will be refunded in the original form of payment, cash and check refunds over $100 will be issued as a company check (may take 14 business days from time of request).

We cannot accept returns on monogrammed, personalized, special-order items, custom upholstery, food, items shipped direct from the vendor or on items damaged through normal wear and tear. Final sale items ending in .97 or .99 cannot be returned.

It's not a heavy flavor, so if you're looking for something bolder it may not be for you. My family enjoyed the milder flavor though and we enjoyed it a lot. But I found this to be really good. I followed the instructions for the stovetop/oven. The chicken came out moist and fall off the bone. The problem lies in the flavor. There was none. No hint of garlic. No brininess from the artichoke. This was a huge disappointment after investing 4 lbs of chicken and a good amount of time into this dinner. I ultimately salvaged the dish by adding a dash of white wine and a good amount of WS Lemon Herb seasoning, salt and pepper. In the future I'll pass on this product.Date published: 2014-11-04
