Made from the hind leg of pasture-raised and certified organic heritage Berkshire pigs, the well-marbled ham is rubbed with sea salt and naturally air-cured for 16 months in Parma, Italy, where the fragrant hills lend the meat a distinctive nutty aroma and sweet ambrosial flavor. De-boned and hand-tied with twine in the addobbo style of Parma, the prosciutto arrives ready for slicing on your buffet table as a spectacular accompaniment to bread, cheese, cantaloupe, figs and wine.
