Weck Mold Jars, Set of 6
Weck glass jars have been a mainstay in European kitchens since 1900, when German merchant Johann Weck pioneered the science of water-bath canning. Weck jars are still a reliable favorite of European home cooks for preserving and storing foods. These jars feature a tapered shape that is easy to fill. Rubber-ringed glass lids create an airtight seal that you can check at a glance.
- For preserving foods using boiling-water canning; also useful for storing dry food staples in the pantry.
- Wide-mouth tapered shape makes the jars easy to fill and handsome enough to bring right to the table for serving.
- Each clear glass jar comes with a glass lid with rubber ring and two rustproof stainless-steel clamps for creating an airtight seal.
- Seal is easy to check at a glance: the pull tab on the rubber ring should face downward.
- Embossed with the Weck strawberry logo.
- Stackable for convenient storage.
- Replacement rubber rings and clamps are available (sold separately).
- Set includes 6 jars, 6 lids, 6 rubber rings and 12 clamps.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Linda9853 from Store, Share, Reheat & Enjoy These 12 oz jars are perfect for us. We're not canning. We make healthy soups, stews, pasta dishes and more, and store/freeze them in these fabulous jars. We share these foods with the younger generation who enjoy the food right out of the jars, and return the jars, lid, clamps and rubber rings for more. Gives them just a little more time to enjoy their young kids. Love these jars! Easy to fill, wash, and even easy to open with pull tab rubber rings.Date published: 2016-10-05Rated 5 out of 5 by KitchenMonster from Handsome Food Storage I use these great looking jars for leftover storage and for those partial jars of jams and pickles. They are attractive & stylish and can go from the refrigerator straight to the dinner table. Lids fit tightly and they stack extremely well. Bonus feature - They really makes the refrigerator look sharp! If you have one of those "smart" refrigerators that you can look in on your phone, you'll want a couple sets of these for the maximum impact!Date published: 2016-07-24Rated 4 out of 5 by Chefpal from Perfect size These were good quality and are stackable. They look great -my only concern was the rubber seal, it takes an extra minute to get it on to close properly. These were a solution to moving away from plastic for storage.Date published: 2015-12-16Rated 5 out of 5 by KGolka from Great jars! The whole line of Weck jars are excellent, cute and versatile! I am going to purchase more of these.Date published: 2015-08-11Rated 5 out of 5 by Bobbytay02 from beautiful presentation Classic and clean display for preserves or serving jars for the table.Date published: 2014-08-28Rated 4 out of 5 by CaliTexan from Functional and versatile I like these jars. They are easy to use and easy to clean. I do not use my jars for canning or preserving. I simply use them for storing foods in the pantry and the fridge. They also work really well for taking my lunch to work be it granola, fruit salads or carrot sticks. I don't like to use plastic for storage so these glass jars do the trick. The clips can be a little difficult to work with when securing the lid. I have mild arthritis and it can sometimes cause me discomfort to fight with the clips. But overall, the jars work as intended for me.Date published: 2014-07-30Rated 3 out of 5 by Elvira from Weck mold jars These jars are of exceptional quality. The wide mouth makes filling and serving very easy. However the rubber rings are extremely thin and flimsy and I would not trust them to seal, so I will not use them for canning.Date published: 2014-07-15Rated 5 out of 5 by mommychia from My favorite glass jars I use Weck mold jars and other Weck jars for storing dried herbs, teas, fruit flavored water, ice cream, ground meat in freezer bin. There are so many ways to use them. I haven"t tried for baking yet but am planning to use them for baking in future. I store all clips in a plastic yogurt container. So far I love to use them everyday.Date published: 2014-07-15
