Rated 5 out of 5 by Flat Rock Farm CT from LOVE these jars for storage, canning, display, ANY I bought four sets of these at WS a couple of days ago and I have already revamped my spice cabinet with these gorgeous jars. I run a B&B and cook a LOT. I also buy spices and everything else in bulk so glass jars are how I store everything. Easy to see but also keeps things fresh and bug free (hint: freeze all grains 24 hours before storing on the shelf, anything that came along uninvited will die). These jars are just great for spices as they have a narrow footprint but the height gives them a high volume. I am planning to use them for pickling jalapenos, storing lemon oil, flavoring oils and vinegars, amongst other uses (so far...)Date published: 2017-03-25Rated 5 out of 5 by Spiritwind from Loving these!! I bought a few jars and just fell in love with the entire line. To be honest, I have more wecks that I know what to do with. A while back, I bought bulk vanilla beans and this jar is perfect for storing them.Date published: 2014-04-23Rated 5 out of 5 by wvmountaineer from Just the Best Canning Jars These are going to be the most useful canning jars for this gardening season!Date published: 2013-07-19Rated 5 out of 5 by Gramcracker from unique canning jars A special treat to use these canning jars that have a unique shape that enhances the food being processed.Date published: 2013-07-14Rated 5 out of 5 by Idahosherry from Exactly What I was looking for I want to make my own vanilla extract using vanilla beans and good quality vodka. These jars are just the size I need to give this a try.Date published: 2013-03-18Rated 4 out of 5 by drgrandma from nice jars, limited uses bought these jars, not realizing quite how tall and skinny they are! I don't plan on pickling asparagus, but they are fun to show off colorful things, including crafts items. I love the Weck rubber ring closures, and have bought two other sizes as well.Date published: 2013-02-17Rated 5 out of 5 by Floro from Beautiful jars I was a little leary - using a jar without the "Ball" or "Mason" screw top but I worried needlessly. I just canned 3 jars of peach-sauce and the lids performed in a stellar fashion. I will never use any other type of jar. However, I have now purchased an electric canning pot - and I am buying my new jars and accessories directly from Wecks - so I can get them before snow flies!Date published: 2012-08-13
