Rated 1 out of 5 by sydney85 from Very disappointing Once again plates are starting to have cracking effect. I have not put these in the dishwasher.Date published: 2018-10-07Rated 5 out of 5 by emleduc from Beautifully Executed I love these classic Victorian Hallowe'en images and I am always on the lookout for their use in practical applications. These plates are just lovely. I had no issues with sizing or stacking. The plates are well executed, although I am befuddled that Williams-Sonoma would state that they are "original designs". These are classic images, and many are in the public domain, which makes that statement in the description somewhat disingenuous, BUT I am excited to see this beautiful artistry being used for Hallowe'en tabletop décor. The plates are a good size for entertaining, are high quality and are just beautiful. Expand the line! I would love to see more.Date published: 2018-08-21Rated 2 out of 5 by flint from Should have listened to my gut! I knew better, but couldn't help myself. The Vintage Halloween design was so attractive. The first time I saw them... thought to myself, would love to have these. Reviewed the details of the product and told myself not to purchase based on where they were made. Yet another Williams Sonoma promotional catalog came along, and again, they really caught my eye again. So I said; what the heck, they are just salad plates how could they go wrong? Well... after a one month wait for the item. Excited to check them out. The quality of the print exceeded my low expectation... but, all of my 4 plates were different in size. So needless to say they don't stack very well. Disappointed! Should have listen to my gut! Lesson learned.Date published: 2017-10-13Rated 5 out of 5 by Robinkizzire from Simply adorable These are a nice size salad plate, super cute and fun to have.Date published: 2017-10-09Rated 4 out of 5 by L2belle from So cute but not original art I absolutely love these plates and would like to see more of them in various sizes and pieces. However, the pictures are taken from antique and vintage postcards from the early 20th century and while they are not full exact replicas of the postcards the design images they used are strikingly similar.Date published: 2017-10-08Rated 3 out of 5 by Laura H from Not your original illustrations These are very cute, but calling them your original illustrations is incorrect. These images come from vintage postcards from the early 1900s, and most of them are by artist Ellen Clapsaddle. If nothing else you should acknowledge that you are using her designs.Date published: 2017-09-28Rated 5 out of 5 by Nicole from Beautiful Purchased one set of these about a month ago and loved them so much I ordered another set. Heavy, great paint job, dishwasher safe. They are a good salad plate or dessert plate size too. Highly recommend.Date published: 2017-09-11
