Rated 1 out of 5 by Cafecomm from Glue as reported I bought this because the previous (6 months ago) reply indicated the problem had been fixed. In store, the associate assured me the glue now "pops off". Nope. Even with bartender's secret, the glue is sticky and nasty. You can see in the photo that even after I've now rubbed off the finish, the glue remains. I've called customer service three times, and when they didn't cut me off, they left me on hold for over 20 minutes at a time, until I finally hung up and called again. Have still not been able to speak to a person.Date published: 2017-12-31Rated 2 out of 5 by Lhgt from Impossible to get glue off We got this pan recently and it comes with a glued on label. It is IMPOSSIBLE to get the glue off. Super disappointing as this is from our wedding registry. I'm not really sure what to do with it.Date published: 2017-07-10Rated 1 out of 5 by anna1234 from Covered in Glue This item arrived with a full page ad glued onto the inside of the pan. The adhesive used will not come off, even after scrubbing with rubbing alcohol and soaking for 2 days. Have to return.Date published: 2017-06-29Rated 1 out of 5 by Beyondfrustrated from Could not even use this Williams Sonoma - how about using some different adhesive to attach the label on this pan? This pan is unusable because I was not able to remove the cement label adhesive from the bottom of the pan. Tried everything I could think of, and then tried several other suggestions I found on websites. Finally gave up. Thanks for nothing.Date published: 2016-11-19Rated 5 out of 5 by Artzine from A Pan For All Seasons This is a heavy pan - in many ways - for heavy users. It weighs in at a hefty 2 pounds 7 ounces, and as such it will retain heat well - So be warned, do not leave delicate cakes sitting in the pan beyond a few minutes cooling. But heavy pan means it holds baking temperature while your home oven varies over a wide range. Quality compares with the top of the line from Chicago Metallic. Ordered in mid-September, I already used it for a variety of test projects. Although 2" deep, the sides are so straight that even a half-inch sponge came out perfectly flat and level thanks to even air flow. Difficult to clean? Not if you use it correctly. This is NOT non-stick- you should grease the pan, paper the bottom, & grease the paper - Then dust all with flour or whatever. The results are worth the fuss.Date published: 2013-10-07Rated 5 out of 5 by Swissmiss7 from Replacing all my aluminum pans with USA Pans I purchased two of these pans to replace some older aluminum pans. I had found an Italian cake recipe that required three rectangular pans for the layers. The batter cooked perfectly with the right amount of time and evenly browned. The pans cleaned up easily with soap and water. I did not soak them as they are made from aluminum and steel and did not want them to rust. The pans are weighty and well made and will last a lifetime if cared for properly. I replaced the rest of my round and square baking pans with this brand. I plan on using these for a long time.Date published: 2013-09-01Rated 1 out of 5 by Isabelle123 from This product corrodes very easily I would like to write a review after today's unsuccessful return. I highly recommend you refrain from buying this product, or any other pans with the "traditional finish." As the previous poster mentioned, this product easily rusts. Bar Keeper's Friend and water will not suffice.Date published: 2013-01-01Rated 1 out of 5 by Nyccook12 from Terrible Rusty Pans The traditional finishes on the baking pans are awful. The pans rust immediately and are impossible to properly clean. One of our pans actually rusted from less than 10 minutes of soaking in soapy water. In addition, food gets stuck in each of the four corners and can only be cleaned out with a sharp object, like a paring knife. Do not buy!Date published: 2012-08-13
