Rated 2 out of 5 by Jennifer from hard to clean I forgot to put parchment paper down when using this pan to roast vegetables...what a mistake. Like many other reviewers the black residue remains in all the cracks and crevices. Extra scrubbing only led to the surface coating coming off. Thankfully I only used one of my 4 pans. I did as someone suggested and put extremely hot water in it with Palmolive dish soap to soak for 5 - 10 minutes. This worked on some of the residue but did not get down into most of the crevices.Date published: 2017-07-06Rated 5 out of 5 by Michael K from GREAT PERFORMANCE AND WAS EASY TO CLEAN I was heating up pizza. I cooked the pizza too long and it became a burned mess not fit for human consumption. The Williams Sonoma Goldtouch® Nonstick Half Sheet Pan was covered with black, stuck on, carbonized food and looked like it was headed to the land fill. After it cooled, it took a large squirt of the blue dish soap, hot water, a 5-minute soak, a sponge, and it quickly looked good as new. I disagree with the folks that gave this cookie sheet a bad review claiming that it is hard to clean.Date published: 2017-06-24Rated 1 out of 5 by tea4two from Hard to clean, things burn I thought these pans were going to be great so I not only bought this one, but got the cookie sheet and two 1/4 sheet pans and threw my old pans away. These are not what I expected. I use them for roasting vegetables and baking. First of all almost everything burns on the bottom. Secondly they are a pain to clean. Because everything burns, the pans have a lot of black on them and if you use oil, good luck! They are bumpy and near to impossible to get looking clean. I don't really care what my pans look like as long as they cook well and I can't say they do that. I'm very disappointed with these pans and would not recommend them.Date published: 2017-04-01Rated 2 out of 5 by Susan A from Bakes well/Absolutely Impossible to Clean I use this pan a lot for baking bread and sweet potatoes. It bakes well, but black residue has accumulated on it and I have found it absolutely impossible to keep it clean. The bumpy surface makes things worse. Using hard pressure makes the surface material come off, so I stopped and gave up. I will keep using it, but I'm embarrassed when people see me baking on it because it looks so gross. I bought a whole set of these Goldtouch pans and would not do so again, because I've had that same problem with all of them.Date published: 2017-03-09Rated 1 out of 5 by amp00 from black residue impossible to clean i really wanted to love this pan as it was highly recommended by the salesperson in the store. i agree with the other reviewers who said it was easy to clean in the start. not sure what happened after but the black residue kept building up and my vegetables stick and its really impossible to clean this pan. i usually bake potatoes and vegetables in it (rather than cookies) so i do it at a high temperature >400F. i would like to hear what worked for other owners but im thinking of buying a cheaper version if this is the effort required!Date published: 2017-02-27Rated 5 out of 5 by roray from Best Bagels Use them to make the best bagels in Santa Fe. Built to last easy to clean.Date published: 2017-01-02Rated 4 out of 5 by HollyAurora from Great performance I have been using this pan for cookies and pizza with consistently excellent results. The bottoms are nicely browned without being burned, and it is rarely necessary to grease the pan. The reason for the missing fifth star is because of how extremely difficult it is to clean. Short of aggressive scrubbing, which I am reluctant to do, it's a puzzle I have yet to solve.Date published: 2016-12-25Rated 5 out of 5 by MichiganBaker from Seriously GREAT baking pan I have used the pans so far for baking pastries, cookies and appetizers (with bacon in them). They heat and brown beautifully and evenly. The cleanup is excellent, even burnt bits wipe off. These are heavy duty pans, not lightweight.Date published: 2016-12-14
