Our convenient starter makes it easy to whip up authentic Italian-style risotto at home without the need for slow, constant stirring. For rich, velvety risotto, we've paired classic Arborio rice with earthy black truffles, porcini mushrooms and aged Parmesan cheese, seasoning the blend with garlic and aromatic herbs. Simply combine with chicken or vegetable stock, simmer in the oven, then finish your risotto with butter and Parmesan cheese.

- Arborio rice, nonfat dried milk, salt, mushrooms, contains 2% or less of onion, cornstarch, sunflower oil, Parmesan cheese (maltodextrin, whey solids, natural Parmesan cheese, salt) natural butter flavor (whey solids, enzyme modified butter, maltodextrin, salt, dehydrated butter, guar gum, annatto, turmeric) natural and artificial flavors, dried cream extract (maltodextrin, natural cream flavor), spices, garlic, black truffles.

Next Day Delivery
For an additional charge of $26 per address, we can expedite delivery to most destinations. This service is not available for some oversize items, items shipped directly from the supplier (including perishable and custom-manufactured items), out-of-stock items and items to be shipped outside the contiguous 48 states.
Orders received by 9:00 p.m. ET Monday through Thursday will arrive the next business day; orders placed Friday through Sunday will arrive on the following Tuesday.

If within 30 days, you are dissatisfied for any reason, you may return your purchase for a refund of the merchandise value. An original receipt or gift receipt is required for all returns and exchanges. Returns with a gift receipt will be refunded in the form of a Merchandise Credit for the amount indicated on the gift receipt. Returns with original receipt will be refunded in the original form of payment, cash and check refunds over $100 will be issued as a company check (may take 14 business days from time of request).

It was flavorful, but much too salty, even when made with salt-free butter and no additional salt added (610 mg or 27% of daily allowance for 1/4 c). My past history with the risotto line from WS has been good. Not with this one it called for 4 1/2 cups of chicken broth and the time is 25 to 30 minutes but still at 37 minutes it is still soup. Finally at 52 minutes it is done. I did use a oven therm to calculate my oven temp which was only over by 2 degrees. But I could live with that but the taste is what got this such a poor rating there is no not one bit of parm taste to it or truffle unless you bite into these dark little pieces that are sprinkled through out. This was a fail even with ease to make due to time and taste this needs to go back to try again. I have made risotto from scratch hundreds of times and this was not a good alternative at all.
