Rated 5 out of 5 by Depdeb from Great addition to my collection I bake a lot and really needed a straight pin. This one really fills the bill. It is lightweight, long, very smooth and not to big for small hands. I have rolled pie crust, puff pastry and yeast dough and it works great on them all. Nothing sticks to it and it is long enough to meet all my needs. Of course, I love the fact that it is made in the USA with gorgeous hard rock maple. Ps. I use it several times a week.Date published: 2018-02-08Rated 5 out of 5 by Bookworm from Wonderful! I just used this to make my husband's favorite chocolate pie and it rolled the dough effortlessly. Love it.Date published: 2016-01-02Rated 5 out of 5 by JoyBea from No reason to use another rolling pin...ever I recently repurchased this item which, along with the Calphalon Unison Nonstick double burner griddle, I left behind at a temporary residence. I had the original for well over 10 years and would not return to a heavy, cumbersome rolling pin with ball bearings (which I owned prior to this). It's smooth, light weight, and gets the job done perfectly. I've made countless flawless pie crusts with this simple wood gem.Date published: 2015-04-05Rated 5 out of 5 by Beenie from A Solid Rolling Pin I bought this rolling pin about 5 year ago. I absolutely love it. It has a good weight, rolls smoothly. I feel like I have very good control of it. Excellent for novice baker - like myself - and I'm sure it's perfect for the expert as well. Highly recommend!Date published: 2013-03-31Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from Excellent harwood pin for small pastries I have added this straight hardwood rolling pin to my rolling pin collection and will use it often.Date published: 2012-12-27
