Staub's do-it-all pan lives up to its name, providing the ultimate cooking vessel for an impressive variety of favorite foods. Making a beautiful transition from the stovetop or oven to your dining table, this ultra-versatile pan is great for everything from slow-simmering soups, stews and chili to braising meats, poultry and vegetables. Or use it without the lid for stir-frying, deep-frying, sautéing or baking casseroles.

  • Glossy multi-coat enameling ensures strength and heat resistance and creates a vibrantly colored "majolique" finish similar in appearance to fine ceramic for oven-to-table presentation.
  • Resistant to rust, chipping and cracking, the coating requires no additional seasoning like some other cast-iron pieces.
  • The specially formulated black matte interior enamel of each piece contains traces of quartz, giving it additional heat resistance and a rougher surface resulting in better browning.
  • The smooth enameled base is compatible with all cooktops including induction.

Use & Care


  • Ideal for use on any cooktop, including induction.
  • Oven and broiler safe up to 500°F.
  • For best results use low to medium heat.
  • When using high heat, bring your pan slowly to a high temperature.
  • Use plastic, wood or nylon utensils only; metal utensils may damage the enamel.
  • Enamel may chip or crack if banged against a hard surface.
  • Handles and knobs can become very hot. Always use pot holder or glove when handling.


  • Allow pan to cool before washing.
  • Dishwasher safe.
  • Stubborn stains can be removed by soaking your pot for a few minutes in hot, soapy water.
  • Completely dry pan before storing.
  • Avoid using steel wool, steel scouring pads, harsh detergents, bleach or abrasive cleaners.

Next Day Delivery

For an additional charge of $26 per address, we can expedite delivery to most destinations. This service is not available for some oversize items, items shipped directly from the supplier (including perishable and custom-manufactured items), out-of-stock items and items to be shipped outside the contiguous 48 states.

Orders received by 9:00 p.m. ET Monday through Thursday will arrive the next business day; orders placed Friday through Sunday will arrive on the following Tuesday.

Return Policy

At Williams Sonoma, we take great pride in the quality and craftsmanship of our products. Attention to design, materials, safety and construction are our priority. Upon receipt, please inspect your purchase and notify us of any damage; we will arrange for a prompt replacement.

If within 30 days, you are dissatisfied for any reason, you may return your purchase for a refund of the merchandise value. An original receipt or gift receipt is required for all returns and exchanges. Returns with a gift receipt will be refunded in the form of a Merchandise Credit for the amount indicated on the gift receipt. Returns with original receipt will be refunded in the original form of payment, cash and check refunds over $100 will be issued as a company check (may take 14 business days from time of request).

For all cutlery returns (knife sets, single knives, cutting boards, knife sharpeners and knife storage), please contact us at 888.922.4108 to initiate the return.

We cannot accept returns on monogrammed, personalized, special-order items, custom upholstery, food, items shipped direct from the vendor or on items damaged through normal wear and tear. Final sale items ending in .97 or .99 cannot be returned.

Made to Order and Final Sale Furniture items are non-returnable and cannot be cancelled once the order is placed.

It did not and when I queried Williams-Sonoma they said they would get back to me and never did. Disappointed in their service. I like the pan but feel like it didn't come as advertised. I notice now that they have removed that part of the description.

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Terrific Pan Love this pan!! Beautiful color (red) & very easy to use. Clean up has not been difficult. No major sticking issues so far. Chicken, turkey, beef all browned beautifully. Love the fact that it has a well fitting glass lid. Bacon & eggs even were a success. Fried eggs did stick a little, but not terribly. Clean up was easy after soaking in hot water with a little soap while we were having breakfast. My second Staub piece & will be back for more.

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful pan! I have been looking for a heavy all-purpose cast iron pan with a clear lid - and this one is fantastic! The interior of the pan seems to be more all-purpose than my previous cast iron pan with the enamel coating (it popped off when I did not have enough liquid in the pan) and ruined the pot. These are investment pieces and you hope to use them for a long time. This looks like it will fit those needs as my "go-to" pot - well made and was an excellent price on sale.

Nicks in every one of them. I finally gave up on Staub and got a refund. I don't think I'll ever order a Staub again. For the price I expected something with much more QA control.

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect indeed My husband gave me this pan for Christmas and I instantly fell in love. I do cook with all types and brands of cast iron and it's something that requires a little practice, but once you get used to it you'll wonder why you ever cooked with anything else. This pan cooked perfectly for me from my first use. I have done just about everything in it: omelets, soups/stews, roasts, fried chicken and several types of sauces. I have come to the conclusion that I even prefer it to my Le Creuset.

  • Can you use this on a glass topped electric stove?  Will it scratch the stove surface?

    The Perfect Pan, can be used on an electric stovetop. As long as the vessel is placed on and off your stove stop, it will not scratch your stovetop.
