Rated 1 out of 5 by Anjest from Agree with all one star reviewers These indeed do exude brown guck that is impossible to clean off over time. How could they be truly "stainless" steel? WS: please sell us the plastic replacements we tossed when we "upgraded" to these.Date published: 2017-12-11Rated 1 out of 5 by Katie from Awful Frankly, I'm surprised that WS still offers these for sale. The poor reviews are a red flag. These dispensers look good for about 2 weeks. A brownish goo will form and run down the side of the bottle, so there must be a non-stainless mechanism in the pump that rusts when in contact with liquid. Terrible quality. Do not waste your money.Date published: 2017-11-22Rated 1 out of 5 by G35lady from NOT STAINLESS STEEL I bought 3 of these soap/ lotion dispensers because they were great looking. I PAID EXTRA for the supposed stainless steel pump and they have rusted and spew out what looks like black mold. Disgusting! Soap leaking out of the pump???? I should have read the reviews before purchasing.Date published: 2017-08-27Rated 1 out of 5 by RetiredCaregiver from Disappointing I used these pumps with the WS dish and hand soaps. They look good until they start rusting; brownish soap runs down side of bottle. Nothing lasts forever but these should last much longer than they do given that they are supposed to be stainless steel.Date published: 2017-06-03Rated 1 out of 5 by Aerides from Avoid! Rusts and spills out brown rusty soap - ew This reacts with the soap and spews out brown rusty colored soap around the seal, and often then over down the side of the soap bottle and onto the counter. Gross. Great idea, terrible execution. Don't do it!Date published: 2017-03-03Rated 1 out of 5 by Shgreen from Poor quality These looked great when I purchased them. They look so much nicer by your sink than the plastic ones but unfortunately mine rusted too. At first I could wipe the rust off but then it got to the point that I couldn't so I had four and I had to throw them all away don't waste your money.Date published: 2016-12-27Rated 1 out of 5 by FaithMasters from Don't be tempted to buy one! I bought 4 of these and use them very little (one person household). They look good for about a week before the rust pops up. Not a little spot, but A LOT of rust. It was a waste of money. WS, you should pull these from your shelf or sell them at a "nearly disposable" price.Date published: 2016-10-21Rated 5 out of 5 by Studio416 from Pump upgrade I have had a number of these over the years. I like that they look more custom than a plastic pump. After a while, the soap pumps have cracked, leaked and gotten a bit rusty. (This hasn't happened to me with the lotion.) There were a number of reviews mentioning this, but for the look, and the price, I still give it 5 stars. Only know that they don't last forever.Date published: 2016-07-27
