Rated 3 out of 5 by Shiloh from HARD TO CLEAN Attractive and light-weight- great for straining small things like rice that I soak before cooking to make it fluffy. But MANICOTTI! What a pain to clean! Cooked food like pasta is very difficult to remove! I use a Dobie pad and a regular sponge with soap and hot water, and I will often find residue later that didn't come off with the first wash. It's hard to see because the mesh is so fine, but I can feel it, and it's just gross. They're great for storing, though, particularly since they're light-weight.Date published: 2017-06-14Rated 1 out of 5 by CulinaryCailliers from I would buy a nicer set We bought these and within a few uses notices that they are very difficult to clean and have already started to rust. We would return them if we could.Date published: 2017-06-13Rated 1 out of 5 by JakeKnits from I would return them if I hadn't used them These colanders are very difficult to clean. Food gets stuck in the mesh and has to be removed with a brush.Date published: 2016-12-28Rated 5 out of 5 by Paula05 from Pleasant suprise Wasn't sure about this product at first, but love it! you can strain anything without worrying about it slipping thru and are so easy to clean! I love that it comes in 3 sizes and they stack easily in my shelves!!Date published: 2016-03-18Rated 2 out of 5 by WSobsessed from Wanted to love them... I really wanted to love these, in fact the 2 that are still in one piece I do, but the biggest one, my workhorse, handle broke off after 4 months. I hand wash these and was pouring a half a box of cooked spaghetti in it when the handle came right off! In my opinion, it should have easily been able to handle that weight but on close inspection there are just small welds holding the handles on. Very disappointing!Date published: 2016-02-23Rated 5 out of 5 by bweesner from 3 Pc Colander Set Immediately upon opening, was glad the set was as heavy as it is. The handles which seemed like a concern to me, are not. Cannot think of what I was worried about them for.. the set of 3 is very nice, and have used in my kitchen for 2 weeks now, perhaps 7 dish washing machine loads, and all is good. Would Highly Recommend.Date published: 2015-08-26Rated 3 out of 5 by Shopandcook from Mesh size too big I was looking to replace an old similar colander I loved. I used it for everything and especially loved I could put small size things like quinoa in there to rinse before cooking. These, however, are not as fine a mesh and the quinoa went right through! I returned them. So my search for a replacement continues!Date published: 2015-04-22Rated 5 out of 5 by dsenean from Love them! The first set I ordered arrived damaged. Exchanged at the store. We have been using them almost every day since! We love to pick fresh fruit and these are perfect for small blueberries to bunches of grapes and strawberries. I love leaving them on the counter so the kids can reach them after the fruit has been washed and I don't have to worry about the colander tipping over.Date published: 2014-07-02
