- Dimensions & More Info
- 13 3/4" x 9 3/4" x 2 1/4" high.
- 3 1/2-qt. cap.
- 3 lb. 12 oz.
- Made in Italy.
- Use & Care
- Ideal for gas and electric cooktops.
- Oven safe to 450°F.
- To protect the tin lining from damage, do not heat the pot empty or at temperatures above 450°F.
- Use wood, plastic or heat-resistant nylon tools to avoid scratching the tin lining.
- Allow pot to cool before washing.
- Hand-wash; dry immediately with a soft cloth.
- Avoid using steel wool, steel scouring pads or harsh detergents.
- Copper will develop a rich patina over time. This will not affect the pan's cooking performance. To keep the exterior looking new, use a copper polish or a combination of lemon and salt.
- The tin lining protects foods from reacting with copper but will become discolored over time. This is normal. Depending on the frequency of use and types of food cooked, the tin lining may eventually have to be replaced. To prolong the lining's usefulness, avoid cooking acidic ingredients in your tin-lined cookware.

- More about Ruffoni
Ruffoni was founded in 1962 in Omegna, Italy, a beautiful lakeside town at the base of the Alps that’s known for its tradition of metalworking and coppersmiths. The Ruffoni family preserves this history in its private collection and museum, which showcases antique copper cookware and early copper-production processes. The company’s skilled artisans still use many of these time-tested, hands-on techniques to craft heirloom-quality cookware as beautiful as it is functional. From hand-hammered exteriors to decorative molded handles and knobs, the famous Italian attention to design shines in every piece.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Gourmet Cowgirl from Indispensable part of my cookware collection I bought this piece several years ago & I use it about twice a week. Fabulous for small-medium roasting of both meat & veggies.Date published: 2017-12-10Rated 5 out of 5 by ChoppyChoppy from Gorgeous and Wonderful to cook with My wife made the mistake of leaving me alone in the W-S store for a few minutes. When she returned, I had this pan and some other items stacked up for purchase. She was struck by the beauty of the pan and I just knew it would be a wonderful addition to my cookware. We were correct. I have used this pan to make breakfast casseroles when the adult children visit and it has cooked wonderfully. Even distribution of heat in the over (400F) and a very nice crispy crust. I am not concerned with the statements of others about the pan being thinner than 2+mm. I like how it cooks and the beautiful presentation. I will cook potatoes in this pan for the Thanksgiving meals (we do about 4 different Thanksgiving meals for work, family, etc.). I highly recommend this pan for anyone looking for a beautiful and functional pan. I am going to buy more Ruffoni (when my wife makes the mistake of leaving me alone again.......)Date published: 2017-09-04Rated 3 out of 5 by Wylie from Beautiful presentation cookware but too thin Ruffoni Historia line is between 1 and 1.5mm copper thickness. This is too thin for most high performance copper cookware that is in the 2.5mm range. Just be aware when you are looking at the gorgeous finish these have. I returned mine and obtained thicker copper ware.Date published: 2017-08-03Rated 5 out of 5 by cmcinc from Just Beautiful I have used this to make a stunning display of au gratin potatoes for a party and they came out perfectly. Also I am pleased with how it roasts chicken, carrots and potatoes. I am going to try a small turkey at Thanksgiving.Date published: 2017-07-04Rated 4 out of 5 by jmmill from Beautiful Pan I received the first pan quickly, as promised, but it had an imperfection. WS handled the exchange for a new one with great customer service and expediency. The replacement pan arrived quickly and without imperfections. I have not baked anything in it yet. That is why I have only given it 4 stars. Once I use it, I will consider adding the 5th one. It's a beautiful gratin pan, and I look forward to seeing it on my table with something yummy in it.Date published: 2016-06-10Rated 5 out of 5 by Nantucket from Beautiful Pan I own several pots by Ruffoni and saw that Williams-Somoma had the gratin pan on sale during the holidays. It's something I've always wanted and I'm so glad I bought it. It's beautiful to cook in and the pan itself makes a great presentation. Received many comments.Date published: 2014-12-31Rated 5 out of 5 by BlackHandGallery from 1-1.5mm thickness is parfait. ;) I use the oven for most of my food preparation (steaks, porkchops, fish, veggies, etc.....) so the 1 - 1.5mm thickness was not only appropriate (as well as recommended) and the light weight of the pan is easy on my wrists. While WS doesn't disclose the thickness - the information is available online with some research. I also keep the heat well below the 450 degree threshold. I love this pan not only for its functionality but its aesthetic value and heirloom design. Bon Appétit!!Date published: 2014-06-12Rated 2 out of 5 by Harlem from Disappointed The thickness of the copper in this pan is not readily available before purchase. It is thinner than store personnel informed. It is beautiful and if you want a pan for its beauty, this may be it. But, for cooking I would rather have the thicker copper. It is however, when on sale, ok for the price.Date published: 2014-06-08
