Orders received by 9:00 p.m., Eastern time, Monday through Thursday will arrive the next business day; orders placed Friday through Sunday will arrive on the following Tuesday.

I have litterally worn the others out. They last for about two years. I use them constantly in my sewing room. I have always been very pleased with the he old models..... i understand you wanting to chamge the design, as the screw in plug was always a problem. After changing the rubber ring several times, it always seamed to be the weak spot in the machine. This new model is noisy,hard to make function, not nearly as effective as the old one.....a real loser. Sorry. It takes forever to originally heat up for steam. Then when it pauses after 8 minutes, I cannot always get it to reheat for steam. I can get the iron to heat enough for dry heat but not steam. I had a Rowenta iron for years; an older model with a large water tank. It stayed on when I did not use it. I loved the iron. I am very disappointed in this current iron and would not recommend it to anyone. I really would like to return it and get one with a water tank that does not shut off when it is not in use. I keep my iron always plugged in to a power strip so I don't have to worry about leaving the irion on accidently. The red light is on when the power strip is on. Is there some way to make the water heat again so that I can have steam after it pauses after 8 minutes. I have been able to get it to resteam a couple of times. This model is a real step up from my last Rowenta steam generator iron! The best thing for me is that the water chamber is much larger, so I can iron for a lot longer without having to refil! The iron's performance is above question. My only peeve is that it switches itself off if I leave it on for longer than a few minutes before starting to iron but I accept that this is a safety matter! I can't praise them enough! I have had a power steam station for over 15 years and they have stood behind every one of them. I had an older model and the safety valve opened and couldn't be reset, I sent it in for evaluation and Rowenta sent me a NEW version replacement unit!!!!
